After months of trying on and off, I finally finished a Spelunky 2 run without picking up any gold, earning the Low Scorer trophy, which only about 4% of players have earned at this time. The depth of understanding, focus, and skill (as well as luck) this takes is more than I'm usually willing to put into a video game, but Spelunky 2 is just one of my favorite things ever. And the game really rewards patience and perseverance. I got pretty lucky getting an easy shotgun, cape, and Kapala early in this run, but I still had to make it work without any ropes for most of it, so it still took a lot of effort on my part. I may edit this version down somewhat in the future and add some commentary, but for now please enjoy the run, complete and uncut. : )
