Spelab Reviews | CCV Upgrade 2024 Duramax Diesel 6.6L | Crank Case Ventilation Kit
Hello Friends, today's video is not about my 4Runner. Today we'll be upgrading the crank case ventilation kit in my 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD L5P Duramax Diesel. The part was provided by Spelab Auto Parts. The engine will only last as long as its weakest link. Hot temperatures go through a plastic box to move air back to the intake system. The upgrade is built aluminum piece with a dual screen pressure differential, a better fill tube for oil, relocated forward on the engine, and we'll cap off the turbo hose to minimize heat. Why didn't you run the hose out the back of the ccv block and down on the side of the enigne towards the ground

That could have been an option but the hose also plugs the intake hole where it recirculates it back into the intake.
a mac 5 point torx works well as does a 7/32 mac short extractor

Thank you for that feedback. I am not sure if I own either of those but I never mind buying more tools.
I see they have an L5P delete kit for 1300 dollars. Does it seem to be a good kit? Does it fully delete it like I would be wanting with a tune?

spelab all chinese made parts? looks to be a copy of the VSE kit which is USA made?

They are a Chinese company. I have not heard of VSE. I will look them up.

Wow.. this Chinese knock off stuff is getting out of control. VSE was the original design of this product. I know because I bought mine from them.
This is an absolute 100% knock off of the VSE kit that's made in the USA. They also have other products for Diesel trucks, my VSE kit has been on for 6 months now
