Hey Coach you can actually mix the two. Traction control and the throttle curve. Let me know if you want me to explain

I didn’t use any special receiver, it depends on what drag racing you’re doing. If it’s no prep then the SR3100 off Amazon

I used the SR6100AT but they were not very good especially with the AVC. Now I purchased the SRS6110AT and I still have to try them out. Someone told me to use the SR6200A, but I do not know what the difference is between them and why I should use this one for drag racing without prep!

Have you tried this with a Maclan drk? If not do you think it’s similar to the futaba where you need the stages at 100%?

Yes I have the drk in my Losi 22s drag car and have tried this, fill me in on the futaba stages needing to be at 100%.

@@CoachD386 that just something I saw in the Maclan Facebook group where you needed it at 100% because you can do the stages or something through the controller I maybe thinking of the wrong remote.

@@CoachD386 ok I don’t have that remote but that’s what I saw I have the Dx5c and my dad has the Dx5c smart. I just have a drk also and wasn’t sure about the stages and stuff when you are tuning through the remote. I think Dorky&40 did a video on it.

Is Traction like punch I have the Dx4s?

Traction function controls the % the car launches at before full throttle kicks in so gives a smoother takeoff.

@@jgotdawheel no not the same, the punch in the dx4s is more for nitro cars, you do have exponential though. So go to exponential and set it to -25% and it will let the car leave less aggressive at launch.
