Picked up mine yesterday!! Wasn't too pleased with the hard Styrofoam case, i was expecting a hard plastic case, however i'm looking forward to setting it up

Not as good compared to hard case for sure.However it holds cost down and better than cardboard inner box :D

Really appreciate the Spektrum radio tutorials! I have a NX10SE, and the instructional videos were super helpful for getting everything set up. That being said, I am really intrigued by the upgraded programming experience that the iX14 provides. I have yet to get my hands on an iX14, but was interested in hearing your thoughts on the gimbals as they compare to the machined aluminum gimbals on the NX10SE. I believe they're both Hall Effect so I recognize this may be more of a personal preference, but curious to hear your take on how they might compare, and if there are significant advantages of one over the other?

Thanks for the complement. CNC gimbals will feel smoother and endpoints of stick dead stop because no flex like plastic. I enjoy programming on the iX14 too! GUI and touch screen make better user experience. Text to speech is big plus too!

BD…. Need your help please. Hope you can do a video on this. I have an f16 and I want setup the following. When I activate my ailerons to work as flaps I want them to stay as flaps and not move as ailerons.I have my elevators work as both elevators and ailerons. When I bring flaps up I’m wanting my flaps to now work as normal ailerons and elevators as elevators only. I have ailerons and elevators all on seperate channels. I cannot figure out how to setup my mixes to work like this. Help please.

Yes alot of upgrades.However NX is still good overall radio.

Will the IX14 work with the crossfire system?

Yes it works with crossfire. Uses CRSF2 protocol

My NX10SE gimbals spoiled me. Guess I'll have to wait on the iX14SE or ix20se. Still something I don't trust/like (personally 🤷‍♂️) on anything android from all the cell issues I've had in the past 35 years.

For the price of spectrum radios they still should not have a Styrofoam Box they should give you the metal Box with it really for $900?????
