Why dose my ix12’s inactivity alert sound while I am flying .not very popular on the flight line

Just got the blue ix12 in today.. this video worries me because everything you touch on the screen doesnt respond or tou have to hit twice... scary for a 700 trans

My DX9 is too loud glad they cut the volume on the ix12 👍🏻

I just got an AR637TAS3x an SAFE 6Ch receiver for my IX12 how can I set it up so I can use it can you guys do a video on it I seen it done on dx6 and 8 but not on Ix12 let so I don't know how to get into it

Why does the battery go dead really fast. Will the update fix the problem

Does it play multichannel simultaneously? I.e. When you have an mp3 playing and you flip another switch, it will report the setting of it immediately (instead of waiting till the present mp3 ends, which could take a while so you get a “stack” of reports)?

Yes it will play the file as the switch is hit...Not after the file is complete.

Myself and others are reporting that the speaker volume at max on the iX12 is really low. I estimate it to be lower than the 40% speaker volume setting on my DX9. While a bluetooth headset/earpiece can definitely help, that's not how I and many others like to fly at the field. I depend on the speaker volume and don't like using an earpiece. Max volume is not really usable at the field via the speaker due to this problem. What does HH have to say about this issue?

I have a ix12 and everything works fine, except I have no trim beeps. I have checked everything thing I can think of.

Is the speaker loud? Sounds like the speaker is lacking.

I know you can make your custom audio files. Two words that every real world pilot learns to says "Clear Prop". Then the fan begins to blow.

Just purchased this transmitter, and I am supposed to be able to run BetaFlight on it, but cannot figure out how to install BetaFlight on the transmitter. Github shows versions available for download for Windows, Linux, AMD and Mac. Downloaded the Windows file to the transmitter, but when I tried to open it, the transmitter displayed a message saying "cannot open file". Help!

We've never said that you can run Betaflight on the radio. We did, however, mention the radio runs perfectly with PIDFLIGHT. Look for that in the app store and then you can adjust PID's on the fly.

I just received my IX 12, and imported all my airplanes from my DX9. Apparently the audio switch reporting functions do not appear to move over as well. I deleted and retried twice with ZERO results. Does this mean I have to manually reprogram every switch on every airplane? No one appears to be talking about this.....Before I purchased the radio , I was told by sales, and read in the manual, that I could export all models to the SD, and then import them from the SD to the IX 12. I assumed this meant ALL programmed functions. So Spektrum, what's the deal? Am I missing something?

Same with me. I have 60 models. This is ridiculous, really thinking about sending this radio back. This lack of feature just blows my mind! 🤯

it would be fantastic if it had voice recognition.. THINK ABOUT THAT ONE

I think it’s dumb all my voice events don’t transfer over from my DX7 to the DX12

I was wondering about those macros myself. There's nothing about them in the manual.

How to improve the bad quality of the speaker?

What is the use of al these audioevents if you cant hear them ? Pls fix the volume volume as request by many.

Hello, did you increase the volume in both the Airware app AND in the Android settings? This helps substantially.

Yes both volumes are wide open..nice radio buth the volume is the dissepointing factor.

I know this is an old video, but hopefully someone will see this. Can you setup an audio event to give you Flight Pack %. as is shown on the SMART page of the screen? I am using an AR637T with a G1/G2 6s 4000mah smart battery connected to the Avian 100 esc. All I am able to get is the flight pack min/max volts . Then I have to do math and I get all confused. LOL Thanks in advance

Is there a limit to how long those sound files can be?

Many people including myself are not purchasing these because of the numerous problems people are reporting, Get with the PROGRAM Spektrum before someone else takes over this market. We shouldn't have such problems with something like this.
