ok I think i got it 1. hit mute 2. play at slowest speed 3. remove side grips to access screws 4. remove screws 5. figure it for myself from there.

Pity, I have the same issue but your video is too fast to follow anything to help. Have you got a normal speed video somewhere please?

Joe Conti Sorry about that I just made this to show all that's involved for my facebook friends that wouldn't sit through the video. Let me see if I have to regular speed and I'll upload it for you.

@@JCRC All tx come with one free spring inside of them. Your throttle has a spring on it as these tx don't use a return due to collective pitch helis and what not. Take it apart and it will be there like a free christmas present. Otherwise I called horizon and was able to get 2 of them later on as I didn't learn my lesson and had them adjusted way too tight.

Hi Asewamu, I could you use your help with my dx8 problem: My dx8 aileron signal jumps from about 0 to -20 (fast and constantly). I have calibrated the joysticks (by changing the mode and restarting) and this hasn't fixed the problem. I believe I need to replace the joystick and I can not find the joystick replacements online. Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

FPVme I don't believe horizon hobby sells the gimballs but if you were able to find one they aren't too bad to change. What you are describing is a pretty common DX8 issue. Depending on when it was bought. I got mine a year ago and knock on wood have not had this issue as of yet. Contact horizon and see if its covered first.

+Nikk Audenried I called horizon and explained what had happened and asked if they would mail them to me vs me having to send it in. It was still under warranty and they mailed me 2 of them. Might work even if you're out of warranty. Hell I would have paid for them.

Glad you enjoyed it. Slow the playback speed and you can see it closer to real time. This originality was not made as a “how to” but if people really need the help I still have this tx and can record a step by step.

@@asewamu crying? Really? I've already fixed mine. I'm just saying the video is pointless. And if it's not a "how to" video what's the point of posting it? It serves no purpose.

@@kevinsykes2549 it was made just for fun YEARS ago. I saw no such video existed and just threw it up to try and help. I never set out to have it be a instructional. It was supposed to just be a time lapse. I still have the tx and made to a step by step based on all the negativity over the years.
