Had some issues with the timer after the patch so I edited in another one and removed the part of the video where I was trying to figure out what was wrong...
Anyway turns out you can get enough disapproval from Solas to trigger the punch scene simply by talking to him, so that's cool

This is the only way to play dragon age. I feel like I understand you on a level

Not only you can punch solas and be friend with everyone except him and maybe Viviene and Blackwall, but you can also start with being the inquisitor as it should be from the beggining so i am loving this xD

You can be anyone, you just have to have low enough approval to trigger the cutscene. It will show up as a dialogue choice :)

@@JasperForge I think the elf can do it quicker, because there are special dialogs about elf that earns more disapprove, you just need to be more "dalish"

low enough approval can work for any character, being an elf works faster because there's way more opportunities to fight with him.
More like a glitch run.

Most speedruns become 'see how many glitches you can stack', it's the reason why every game has a 'glitchless' category for speedruns.
