Hi I have used a hitchmaster in Australia for extended slackline setup. I tied a running bowline around the tree. I was able to put more force with these cheap looking hitchmaster setup, where as the ratchet strap wasn't enough. The hitchmaster can give you over 16 to 1 setup. My static rope cut a groove in my tree. But it's a Gumtree so I was going to trim it right down purely because of how dangerous they are! Branches drop and can kill, and have killed a lot of farmers in Australia! Cheers.
