Wouldn't these power gains destroy the cvt transmission, disregard if you have a manual or the old 4speed auto but cvts are really weak transmissions buddy of mine has a maxima with a cold air intake and he's already experienced problems with his transmission

Cold air is cold air. It's not about who or what is feeling its temperature. It is just physics. Air sucked from the outside is simply denser than the warm air you suck inside the engine bay.

hi! is this possible on a new 2022 corolla altis E? im torn between getting the base variant, especially if there is not much performance change on the "grs" variant which asks for around 200k more I was wondering if I can just go for the E, and use the saved money to get this power package, asap hahaha would love to know what you think!

What I said was that everything you read on the internet about 4-2-1 vs 4-1 pertains only to Hondas. You will never find anything about an Altis no matter how much you search. And I'm the only one doing it with the dyno numbers to back it up And I also said that if you install only headers, you will lose power if not tuned

headers are not exclusive for hondas. any engine could be installed with performance headers, now its up to the owner if he wants to really feel the gains by getting your car tuned properly, at hindi yung nagpalagay lang ng headers sa tabi tabi eh malakas na agad. if your engine is fuel injected, might as well get yourself a piggyback ecu because your suking mechaniko's timing light at adjust adjust ng distributor lang wont get the cut. and street tuning is not as reliable as getting your car dynoed. the internet is there, you can search it, a real auto enthusiast does his own research at hindi umaasa lang sa pagsali sa grupo. a real auto enthusiast is not a brand lover. sa isang tunay at totoong enthusiast, kahit anong brand pa yan kakalikutin nila yan. hindi puro bandwagoning lang.

Per toyota website: Manual altis stock Max output 121 hp @6k rpm Max torque 153 Nm @5.2k rpm With speelab modifications and tuning 119.3 hp @ 6k rpm 112.8 lbft or 152.9 Nm @ 4.2k rpm Atleast torque comes earlier in the rev range. 4.2k vs 5.2k rpm Same or similar max values (stock) :/

Agreed. But that is a dynapack. Dynapack connects directly to the axle. Altis is a fwd. Drive train losses are not very significant :/ compared to a awd and/or other dyno rollers with tires on.

Or if we assume "Clean" dynapack readings of 152.9Nm and 119.3 and estimate back up to the crank (drivetrain etc minimal loss of 5% and higher) 152.9 Nm / 0.95 = 160.9 Nm 119.3 hp / 0.95 = 125 hp A greater drivetrain loss estimate of 10% would lead to higher crank number estimates of 152.9 Nm / 0.9 = 176.9 Nm 119.3 hp / 0.9 = 132.6 hp And that would already exceed the stock max crank by toyota for their engine. With only the intake and headers modified :/ And if we go by "significant losses like 15%" Then the stock max toyota numbers for the car's engine is already exceeded! 152.9 Nm / 0.85 = 179.9 Nm 119.3 hp / 0.85 = 140 hp With intake and headers. That's WOW!

I love the sound of it when it comes to manual that has full exhaust. Hearing every pulls of of every gear is very satisfying for me to hear. It is only my opinion. 😅 Loving your content by the way.
