There are better ones...the Diablo, the Sesto Elemento, the Gallardo, but it was the Miura and Countach that really made Lamborghini be taken seriously. Also, though everyone thinks that the Urus is the first attempt by Lamborghini to be an SUV, it was actually the surprisingly good, as well as underrated, LM002, which was also made in the 1980s, that was actually the first Lamborghini SUV. Moreover, had said vehicle not been so expensive to produce, the Italian government would have put it into military service.

The first 2 minutes solid of the movie used a genuine Countach -- in fact I remember reading some years ago that it was the same Countach QV used in period Michelin advertisements. It's easy to spot when the replica Countach is substituted based on the flatter rear end design and the polished convex alloy wheels it wore. They would go back and forth between real and replica throughout the film. What I don't understand is why they used the replica's four-cylinder soundtrack dubbed over every appearance of the car instead of using the real Countach's V12 to dub engine noise.

Are you kidding cars sucked in the 70-80’s worst cars ever bar none! A 455ci V8 would make 145hp from the factory and be in a car that weighted 2 tons! Yea the Lambo’s was ok but a modern Hot hatch could smoke one.

Or without pink Sunglasses: Gas guzzling ever-rusty piles on poor suspension, barly held together with flake sprayed epoxy-fenders without safety of any kind leaving smoke and oiltrails cluttering the streets with failing parts from one repairshop to the next.

Jamie Farr is the only cast member from the first two Cannonball Run movies in this one.

I remember seeing the trailer for this movie when I was a kid and thinking how cool it looked. Here I am, finally watching it 33 years later for the first time. Thank you!

So many stars in this one...

This is one of those movies that even after not seeing it for years you can still remember all of the lines. It used to come on HBO all of the time back in the early 90's.

Yep definitely a 80s movie. In particular those enormous sunglasses, hairdos and hideous jumpers

I looked for this movie for YEARS and could not remember the name of it for the longest time and someone called it "Cannonball Run 3" and that's how I found it again! I have a picture somewhere back home of my mom dancing with John Candy back when this movie was released in 89. My mom is 5'1" and John Candy was around 6'4" and he towered over my mom but the guy had a heart of gold and was the nicest person my mom had ever met. RIP John Candy...one of the greatest comedy actors ever...along with Chris Farley, only the good die young.

The movie was made to be Cannonball Run 3 but the Cannonball Run producers didn't feel it was good enough and pulled their support so the title had to be changed.

I really don't understand why certain people feel the need to say ridiculous things just to get noticed. Although I'd like to not acknowledge their negative BS comments, sometimes my pride gets in the way. By the way, my parents are both doing very well, and I love them both very much.

4:47 there’s my uncle lee van cleef the greatest western actor who ever lived. r.i.p uncle lee Van Cleef ( Jan 9, 1925 - dec 16, 1989 ) “best of the bad” love and light, what’s sad about this film is it was released on April 21, 8 months before my uncle lee died, I wish my uncle lee was still alive so he could still be acting at 94 but sadly a heart attack killed him on dec 16, 1989 when I was only 23 years old now I’m 53 and I think everyday about my uncle lee for the past 30 years.

September 2021. Still one of the best movies ever. Alot of memories of my childhood watching this with my brother

John candy was always one of my favourite actors when I was growing up when he passed away I was gutted for the big guy I forgot he was in this movie was good to see him.

I was obsessed with this movie back in 89...I've bought the VHS / LD LaserDisc / Crappy Converted DVD....waiting for the never will happen day it'll be on Blu Ray

This aired in the UK on Yorkshire Television back in 1989,i was 19.My dad loved watching this.

I remember seeing the beginning of this movie on cable when I was like 12-14 years old back in the mid-late 90s and immediately loving it cuz I was obsessed with sports cars and racing back then.

I loved that BMW 735i John Candy drove!!!

I used to have this movie poster over my bed, it's a good Cannonball Run type movie. John Candy is awesome! the poster was sweet with half a Lamborghini hanging off the back, who doesn't love a red Lamborghini? :-)

That should be on DVD and Blu-Ray in theatrical widescreen version. That should be re-release nationwide for all of Canada and the US. There is nothing wrong re-releasing this movie all across America and Canada.

You DO realize that you can adjust your font size on Windows 10 computers by moving your fingers a certain way on the screen, as well as choosing it from a menu, and having website options to do likewise, right?
