Not just speed with ball, but speed and acceleration in general. It needs to actually work like it does in real life. A person with 80 acceleration and 86 speed shouldn’t be keeping up with a player that has 88 acceleration and 88 speed… Same with vertical. The physics in this game make zero sense. People that say it’s “more realistic than it’s ever been”, have no idea what they are talking about…

Speed boost and blow by badge only affects the player when they are driving to the basket with the ball in their hands… Also, the best badges are dependent on high attributes… There should be badges for the physical side as well or no badges at all. The whole system needs to be reworked, because speed doesn’t make as big of a difference as strength. There should also be agility attributes, for both defense and offense.(as well as vertical needs to work like a real life vertical) If a player is fast and quick on offense, he should be fast and quick on defense. They should just make it more difficult to steal, block, and affect shots probability of going in with pressure…if the player lacks those stats…it shouldn’t effect their ability to move) Those slow down animations where it forces you into an animation to the offense can get their shot off for defenders is also not good.(it puts the defense at a huge disadvantage) People wanted more realistic, it’s supposed to be an NBA simulator…however it’s very unrealistic… The most unrealistic it’s ever been. (The in game physics are terrible and is scripted…) The game in general, especially online is very scripted. It’s very hard to control your players movements. The animations are broken…it’s all ruined from lazy and poor development/patching…(copy and paste syndrome)

I play center, I play solo rec 99 percent of the time. I prefer to max my speed with ball, its also very cheap on bigs. I have a 6'7 center with 75 swb that i haven't invested any vc towards yet, but im excited to play on it. My other builds are all 7ft. As a guard in full court play it seems laughable to have under 70 swb.

Making a pg lock 6'7, i might have to see how this speed with shii is with it

Im more of an off ball scorer so I've been using this low speed with ball now on all my builds plus you can still speed boost and get where you wanna go quickly the only place speed with ball shows is on the fast break and even that isnt bad blowout dribble and your still speeding to the rim.

I agree 100% with you opinion I have all ball handle builds but for some reason my 75 ball handle and 45 speed w/ ball I cook like crazy!!!! But my 95 not so much sometimes it’s so weird just depends on how I’m feeling that day fr

I don't have a big man & Ive never tested out big driver so I wouldn't be able to give you an 100% answer on that. but I know that physical handles , bully and some of the bigger guard badges are really good because I use them. and if you're really good at the game you should be able to make 40 swb work. just depends on how you play like said in video

Yes I can confirm big driver works on like post spin animations and when you cut to the basket it combos well with other post badges... I have it on three builds

Bro you didn't really do a deep dive at all, you spent a long time talking about how youtubers make build content vids and then repeated "If your playstyle doesnt need speed with ball dont use it" but that doesn't explain anything lol... Logically, any build that dribbles would want to be able to speed boost. Speedboost has always been an important badge. what changed? Thats why we clicked the vid haha we hella curious

my bad. basically what I mean by that is in my opinion speed with ball attributes don't matter at all. only the badges you get from those attributes will change the way you play. but certain players who use like a street style they barely use R2 anyways so speed with ball really doesent matter to them. same with standstill dribblers. if you only speed boost once or twice a play out of a combo you won't need it. but certain people that use launches and speed boost a lot more , will obviously need more of a speed with ball. it really just depends on how you play and how much you utilize the badges given from speed with ball. the way I play in this video doesent require me to have high accel or speed with ball. but that's just me

I think I get it now, I just assumed every damn body would want to be able to speedboost as much as possible since that's such a good way to beat your opponent, but maybe its so easy this year compared to previous years to get a shot off that it isn't even needed?

I think the badges matter more than the attributes. Once you cross the thresholds for badges is when you notice the difference in swb and other attributes too
