Try this if your lid switch on your Speed Queen isn't clicking when you open and close the lid.

😅This WORKS🎉🎉 I have Spd Qn Coin-Op. washer . Saved me the cost of part, ship, tear down & reassembly. Took less than a minute ...with washer ON . - I open lid move drum to Right & Rear.- Found the lever & Tweaked down 1/4 of in . Very small & Closed Lid.... Water turned ON fill the Tank. i tweaked again for good measure. Kept on Working..I tested numerous Times. Washer is back Online.. as for Rigging to Stay Constant ON its a Legal Liability. Serious Injury to a person is Not Worth it. Being Penny Wise Pound Foolish. If this doesn't Work, Buy the part. It's a easy Fix. There a good Video

Consider Changing Title to "Don't Bypass Safety switch - its DaNGeRouS .TRY This B4 getting New ParT. ... This Video should be at the Top page. Great Work

What is wrong when you set it on small and it fills to large? I have a TR3 I think, with a lid lock. I discovered it by mistake when I wanted to stop it so I hit cancel and saw it filled too much.

The machine will override the water setting to add more water if needed, so that the clothes move freely during agitation.

@@acfixerdude I think I fixed it. I was cancelling it, starting it on same cycle with different size load.. did that too many times.It got all out of sync. I tried unplugging it and waiting a few minutes,setting it on small again and it filled only to small.

Yeah but the machine is permanently locked and also shut.
