No since the movie from Arnold Schwarzenegger "Last Action Hero" sums it all so well in that movie . The true pure action genre is over . The page has turned as we made place to too many psychological action movies than offering simple easy popcorn entertainment . As when the 9/11 drama aired it was completely done . People today cannot get over it and give the movie sector another go by offering "real entertainment" and not look the real life drama . Is why the movie industry sucks imho today these last 15+ years . Also why Quentin Tarantino's movies are so boring lately . We knew better from him with true one liners, action scenes, sexy scenes , violence scenes ....we are far from Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, Planet Terror, Inglorious Basterds ....

Speed is a masterpiece of a film. One of the best 90s and action films ever made.

Simply the best action movie of that generation! No holds barred! And LOVED watching the old trailer too! I'm having a flashback. "Get ready for rush hour!" One of the best PR phrases ever. This movie had it ALL going on.

This movie is still fresh 25 years later. Great action film with a great soundtrack.

Unforgettable movie, Keanu is so handsome

this movie is one of my childhood memories!

My cousin recorded this movie on a VCR, and we all must’ve watched this movie like 100 million times. At least. And it’s still top 10 as far as action movies go

Brilliant movie with two execptinal actors in Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves, they made an awesome team... " You didn't leave me, can't believe it, you didn't leave me". " Didn't have anywhere to be just then.....".

Best action movie in my childhood...

Back when action movies were never considered action films without big explosions. I miss those times man.

There were better action movies in the 60's and 70's than many of the 90's crap . Older movies are more mature and adult than kiddie ones made in the 90 to onwards today . The farwell true action movie from the 90's was Arnold Schwarzenegger "Last Action Hero" . It turned the page of what was the golden Hollywood era ( similar to what was Who Framed Roger Rabbit a movie that will prolly never happen anymore to see Warner Bros, Disney, etc...being together in one movie , it was a one go movie and never more because the freaking greed money )

It's one of the best movies Hollywood has every made!

I am a film critic. And i am especially tough in my judgement. I have seen over 1000 films in the last 25 years, and only 13 have ever recieved a perfect 10/10 from me. Just 13. I am that critical. SPEED is one of those 13 films.

Watching this as a kid I was so surprised and in shock when they made that bridge jump, now as an adult I realized how the hell did the bus do a pop a wheelie before the going airborne 🤣

I have got to say just this weekend I watched this film, the film itself is 3 years older than me and I was totally hooked so much so I stayed up past my bedtime until 1:30 in the morning so I could finish it and it was so worth it, it’s so good.
