hello sir . sir u mentioned the definition of wave number to be the number of waves per cm ,but the formula of wavenumber is one by wavelenght and as u said wavelenght can assume any value but according to the definition of wavenumber the value of wavelength always comes up to be one !! how is that possible sir ??
