  I'm confused. If the spinning motion of nucleus is not fixed, and is precession,like you said then what's the point of magnetic quantum number or the orientation numbers? in the diagram you had drawn the north pole is making a circle starting from point +1, halfway at +3/2. if it's constantly rotating , I assume at a very high speed like the speed of light or something then how can we chose a single magnetic quantum number for it ? since it's constantly shifting?
