@@alexandermetcalfe7750 I did t know Spectre was a novel. I read over half of the Fleming novels. Casino Royal and Spectre really brings back the old Fleming spirit. And of coarse No Time To Die.

@@blabbermouth777 Spectre isn't a novel. He meant that in the original comment the user said he doesn't want to rewatch Spectre out of all of them, indicating it's worse, while you understood the opposite.

@William Guzman I mean you can't discover and take out Spectre in one movie. Blofeld was a big man. Telly Sevalas was the closest we got to a real Blofeld. He looked like he could kill a man. There is a scene in 'On Her Majestys Secret Service' where Bond tries to get away from 2 of Blofeld's goons. He gets really close to Blofeld who stands his ground and just keeps smoking with his long cigarette holder.

I absolutely LOVE Spectre! One thing that’s really cool about Spectre is that for those who don’t like the ending of No Time To Die, they can just pretend like Spectre was the last Daniel Craig Bond movie. 😭

People hate it because having Blofeld revealed as Bond's secret evil brother is a really stupid and dumb plot twist. It's literally copied from Austen Powers. And even worse is having Blofeld responsible for all the bad things that happened to Bond in the previous films. That's a cheap, nonsensical retcon. It's lazy way to tie films together and a way they were clearly never planned to be. Then to have him motivated by jealousy cause his dad like Bond better is so lame. He created a whole secret organization just to f*ck with his adopted brother?? That's ridiculous. On top of that there's the utterly stupid torture scene, Bond blowing up a helicopter with one bullet etc. These things would be ok in a campy old Bond film from the 60s, but it just doesn't fit the tone of the Daniel Craig films. And the romance between Madeleine and Bond has zero chemistry. All these problems retroactively bring down the previous films and ruin the emotional impact of NTTD. Why should we care if he dies to save Madeleine when there's no believable romance to care about? It's like an exploding watch full of bad writing that blows up the whole series.

I remain amazed how good this Bond movie. I like Craig as Bond almost as much as I like Sean Connery. But Spectre was as good as many Connery Bonds.

Even from this overview, this movies seems like a mess haha

And this released right after the masterpiece Skyfall.

I've watched this film but was so bored so didn't want to watch no time to die but watched it and enjoyed it so I came to watch this because I forgot this movie happened but even this recap is boring me

I rewatched spectre a few days ago and it was so boring and shit that I still had to watch this so I could take in the plot without falling asleep. Skyfall and Spectre were both just as shit on re-watches as they were the first time...

Only the opening scene in this movie is worth watching

- new Q sucks. - action shots are directed badly with poor timing of each sequence. - SPECTRE fortress is lame and glanced over - other characters are poorly written/acted - not a good Bond movie overall except for the nice locations and panoramic shots
