bullying in asia server is next level evil. I can't remember the day where a survivor didn't start chasing me from behind just to stun me for 1927292028 seconds. the pallet spamming, the emotes, the balls, enchantress. I keep dreaming about pallet mukbangs as geisha and kreachers shout emote. I can't escape it, it's haunting me. I can't play a single match without getting absolutely destroyed by survivors. but I still keep going and I am still continuing to do my hunter matches. it makes me think, am i really the hunter when I have been the one trying to survive this torture?

no but I remember playing a match against 2 doctors and 2 priestess where they just continuously set up perfect portals that pallet stunned me the entire game, healed right in front of me and in the end they still got a 4 escape 😭😭

34:13 That last cipher was between 60%-79% complete. You can tell how primed a cipher is based on its sound. There are 5 levels of cipher sounds based on the percent. The first sound is where the cipher is only make clicking sounds from 1%-19%. At 20%, it starts beeping a low sound. At 40%, the pitch of the sound slightly increases. The pitch increases yet again at 60% progress. And then finally at 80%, the cipher beeps at its highest pitch. That's when you know that cipher's about to pop. 🎉 If you approach the last cipher and it s beeping at its highest, depending on how survivors react will tell you two things. If they run away from you, that cipher isn't fully primed yet. If they stand their ground and do a staring contest with you, then that cipher is fully primed and is just waiting for you to attack them.

A lot of people play characters cause they find them cute, handsome or attractive. At the end of the day, I wouldn’t expect anything else considering it’s a gacha game thriving on people spending an ungodly amount of money just to get a pretty looking skin. Wouldn’t be surprised if Magician’s play rate was somehow correlated to how he looks.

34:55 Personally, I love Fool's Gold. I've mained him since he came out (I play Ithaqua just as much and Naiad sometimes, but I do consider him my main). I love everything about him. I love how he towers over survivors, I love the rock noises, I love his attack recovery animation when he doesn't have his weapon, I love how TERRIFYING it is to be decoding, minding your own business, and have his pickaxe fly at you. He's SUCH a fun character to play and to kite. I also love that a lot of people just die because they don't know how to kite him or are careless about taking chip hits, when in reality he's pretty easy to counter. As for how good he is, I think he's pretty balanced. He's amazing once you get the hang of him, as any hunter is, but I don't think he has anything in his kit that's like.. super op. I do think his camping is a little too good, ESPECIALLY basement camping, but it's not too good to be able to counter.

THANK YOU ZEEZ finally!!!!!!!! You have started watching from the Asia server side!!!!!!! But it's really true, the Asia server indeed has a higher sense of gameplay and strategies you could learn and pick up from (other than watching tourney) Not saying that NA/EU is bad but the Asia server are an entire breed all together LOL which I believe can help you improve your skills!! Yep. Watching tourneys has helped me pick up a lot of things ever since I started playing. However, most of the times I cannot apply my knowledge in matches and flop hard even though theoretically, I know what to do. XD But when it works, it works well.

20:17 Im pretty sure someone else mentioned this, but ill comment this as well. Before I do, I just wantnto say that I really enjoy these Spectate videos you do. One of my favorite things about this game is analyzing matches and seeing how things go, so these videos are a treat. Keep it up Now, as for why she recalled. Opera Singer's passive makes it so if she enters a unique shadow realm by any means, her dash cooldown is reset. This also counts for Shadow Dance. Looking at the cooldown before she shadow dance, we can see she messed up her dash and it went on cooldown. She then shadow dances to the last remnant and it allows her to refresh cooldown and keep dashing. Pretty cool stuff Edit: This match is also a prime example as to why Abnormal is trash if you don't use it. She could've gotten so much value from Blink or Excitement Edit 2: 29:38 IDV in a Nutshell Edit 3: I should probably be doing these after watching the full match to get my full thoughts out. At 29:56 it was better for her to just take the hit rather than Flywheel because the damage boost was the only reason why she was able to rescue Magician before 1/2. Using Flywheel probably would've just causes a shorter down when he decided to change targets or, given he didn't hit her, make sure Magician was after half and was dead on chair. She basically took a gamble it and it just so happened GK didn't think to not hit her Edit 4: 30:52 I honestly think the most recent Gamekeeper buff just elevates Gamekeeper into a position where he just feels really good to play and, because of that, more GKs are able to cook with him. Additionally, his abilities can really counter a lot of the survivors in this game, including the recent Puppeteer, and his mobility is more than worth using because of the buffs. This also might be a case where NA/EU are just stuck in the curve of "low tier = bad" or "hard to play = bad" similar to Aeroplanist, when you can do crazy stuff with these characters. I'm not saying GK is a S tier Hunter, but people are definitely sleeping on him Edit 5: 31:26 The buff is that much to matter imo. The buff fixes a lot of the issues GK had, such as make his mobility better, make hitting survivors and getting downs faster, give you more time to plan your hook throws because of the final presence buff, etc. Edit 6: 31:36 there's actually a lot of cheap spots you can hook survivors at. Did you know you can hook on that roller coaster gap at gate stops and the hook will just go over the wall and snipe survivors if they're in hook range? I'm just saying, GK is not a Hunter you should sleep on Edit 7: I think FG is mid or low tier. Once you know you're against a FG, the way you kite his is pretty simple. Transition kiting and chaining kiting areas kills FG and any momentum he can try to get because unstable ground only lasts for 20 seconds. He only really pops off once he gets presence, but thats a chore to get if the survivors know how to kite you and he doesnt have insolence. I know its sorta wrong to just discount the Hunter because his early game is so bad, but in a game where the first chase matters so much, having a terrible early game just flips around and makes you a bad Hunter

I think a big reason why Asia server have slightly higher game sense is because we are all tryhards no matter the gamemode from my experience

i love watching spectate the pros on asia server! spectating high tier asian players is so much fun plus you can learn a lot from them! (game sense, teamwork, mind games) i remember spectating this novelist player before his rework (i thought this character was really weak/useless back then plus people who played him did just bad most of the time) and bro, he was truly insane! that novelist left the bar really high for me and i wanted to play the character like them 😭

About the healing strat where you prime the first person's healing, heal the second one and after finish the first one, i think (but im not sure at all) that this is as you said in order to not let the hunter knows that you are healing/that there is two players at the same location who could become targets for a double down. I've first seen it in a gsl stream aha, this is quite clever

29:30 btw usually any high tier asia that use magician or perfumer are a solo ranker. You will meet a lot of duo player in high tier rank and they usually play character that has a lot of benefit in team play. For example my duo partner will play as merc or some harasser while i play as physcology or barmaid to heal him fast. But there is some case where a high tier have high ambition to be on top 20. I was once top 10 s badge (but if i dont rank for a day i will go down hella fast) lil girl before her buff in asia server.

I play on asia and i remember I joined Idv around the time Lily came out (Cheerleader) because my friend got me into it and well i did 26 pulls and got Cheerleaders S Teir 'Fluorite' and at first I didn't realise untill I realised I got her character. I had done practice rounds with my friend with cheerleader and at first, I didn't like her slowing down because that would always get me knocked down, but now I'm a Cheerleader main with all of her skins still working towards her worn clothes (the A teir, S teir, B teir, C teir). And This may have nothing to do with this video but I just want to say, Your probably the first and only funny Idv KZreadr I know Thank you for these video's. (I'm also a Melly Main, I was so upset I didn't get her 'Konghou' skin :( )

Kiting routes, patience, and mind games are what I'm seeing from these. Lots of little things to try and implement into my matches

Hi zeez, as an asia player myself, yes! Bane is now a good character and i have found myself playing him as well. Hes had some adjustments but what i feel sparked this new found meta are the high tier players that discovered new tricks for him lol. On another note for one of the earlier matches, I’m pretty sure it was to have the hunter believe that they were both on ciphers. I know for myself that my gameplay plan changes when i see survivors heal because it lets me know decoding progress is slowed! Seeing both get healed at once not only shifts my priorities but also my target. Healing means they are rescuing so i often leave chair when i see no heals. To find out they primed heals and went to rescue after i left chair would be devastating😭

Interesting thing, you know how ento gets revealed for a while when the hunter sees her, seer has that ability to the hunter. So when Eli sees the hunter they're revealed for a bit afterwards, they not only see the hunter at the beginning of the match. :)

Asia server I feel like definitely is. There are more players do to the game I think I’m mainly being advertised mainly in Asia. The players seem to come of with insane ideas that actually work. There are also way more peak tiers plus, most of them have way more extra stars then in na/eu

It’s really funny how there’s a difference in usage of characters in other servers, I (sadly) play on Asia and from what I see magician, bane, and fools gold are used a lot especially fools gold he’s almost always banned on Leo’s memory

29:28 Lawyer also had this very reason he's least played before his buff, he's already an alright decoder even before the Take Notes buff, and heck, he negates terror shock. But because of his affiliation to the chipmunk people doesn't really play him.

Imo fools gold is really good in small/ medium map -use pickaxe dash to possible nearby survivor at the start of the game -When u chase survivor , u can trick them by holding a pickaxe and then throw it to a cipher that are currently getting work on (free hit another survivor) -after u chair a survivor, mark a cipher with your pickaxe, and place your bomb on another cipher. Thats basicaly 3 area camping -his basement is crazy good like naiad I recommend chairing survivor on the middle of the map, so u can put more map pressure 🎉

26:23 high tier survivors prime their heals in order to not give themselves away when healing, it gives them an advantage since the hunter doesn’t know they’re healing until they’ve already healed.

I think NA/EU players get a little too much slander by not being gigachad top tier SSS whatever and else gamer chat speak used- players. I think a lot of them are good in general and obviously regions/servers play by totally different rules. IT IS fun to watch however so thanks for recording some of the matches. I rarely watch other ppl play so it’s interesting. NS YES IVE HEARD MAGICIAN SLANDER!!! I do admit he’s ugly but id rather have ugliness vs. feeding a hunter presence with perfumer. Cant be too horrible I did just get a C badge for him last night :D

Magician is one of my bully survivor. I use it to bully hunters in duo sometimes. How do I bully hunters as a magician? Well flashlight exists in duo so... That's an option lol I've kited multiple double teamers in duos as magician and it was fun. Not saying they were pro hunters tho but still it's nice being able to kite 2 hunters at the same time. His wands are one of the things that's great against double teaming. He's funny and I love him for that. I normally don't use emotes while kiting but with magician... His shout and provoke emotes give me kiting boost! Still only in duos tho, in rank I don't even have time to think about putting down a graffiti because of the stress of not wanting to make even the slightest mistake.

What? Waiting time in NA/EU is like 20-40 minutes. Also, my ping is already 200 anyway. Unless I'm very lucky with whoever I'm playing with. If they are far, like in NA, it's already an issue.

That first match is the kind of support I want from my teammates who are harassers but I never get in the na/EU servers 😭😭like I want some players who support me like that. I feel like Asia server has more game sense and are actually more team related then na/eu I haven't played in the Asia server yet but I would definitely like to get some tips or see them play more often edit 2: it's the fact I'm watching this on my TV but commenting on my phone😭😭

You also rarely see non meta hunters in rank, it is so competitive that just playing a below average hunter is so punishing
