I saw my friend do her eyebrows that way when we first met in high school. I was shook! lol but once I got brave enough to try, I never looked back. All of the best beauty tips I’ve learned have come from my bipoc girlfriends and their moms.

In my country is the most common thing to shave or “clean” your eyes brows with blades. And they do it everywhere, even in at the beauty salon (the neighbor’s living room) 🇩🇴🤍😂

I think this is the first time Hyram acknowledged the South African baddies 😢 ❤❤❤ I love your videos so much. Although we don’t have the same products ,you helped me find the right products with the right ingredients. Our South African skincare scene has stepped A LOT since I first started watching years ago.

We also have good South African skincare brands, my favourites are Lelive and Skoon. 😊

Let me just say that the YTTP Green Tea cleanser can be a bit drying on skin if you're not oily. I bought it a few years ago based on Hyram's praise but it just wasn't for me. Cerave's green cleanser is an amazing alternative if anyone else has problems! I still use YTTP Adaptogen Moisturiser, love that! - way too expensive for what it is in the UK though...

I had a similar experience with the cleanser. I have combination-dry skin and I’m more oily in the summer. I recently received the smaller size of the YTTP cleanser in my monthly beauty box, so I’ll try the cleanser again. I really like the pink bioderma sensibio cleanser. I look forward to using it every evening. Cerave just doesn’t do much for me especially on makeup days.

I don’t mind a little fragrance in my skincare.. but the Weleda Skinfood is STRONGLY scented! When I first smelled it, I thought I was going to hate it. But for whatever reason, I love it. lol I don’t think of it like a moisturizer. it’s super occlusive! I use it to “slug” my face (sometimes) and over a glycolic acid serum on my feet 1x a week. I also put a thick layer on my lips every night. Once the sun goes down, I’ll use it as a hand cream (no spf). I love the scent.. but it’s not for the faint of heart. 😂

is the kale and green tea cleanser still available? i’ve been looking around and struggling to find it, only one with green tea and spinach?

Good ingredients list and no white cast, in Canada so hopefully it’ll be here too if you suggest me some. And also maybe a cleanser as well from a drug store with the same stuff I said at the top (besides the white cast stuff with sunscreen lol) Did see some of the videos you made but it’s hard to tell what’s good and what’s bad since I was thinking of Cerave spf but heard a lot of mixed opinions about it

I have that moisturizer, bought it once when I was urgently needing something very heavy. Used it twice, because the smell, while nice, was so strong. And any time I see it I just imagine Hyram trying it for the first time and what his face reaction would be. 😆

Yes, sunscreen needs to be put everywhere that uv rays can hit, including the eye area. If you use a chemical sunscreen and it feels irritating there you can use a mineral one there and your regular one everywhere else.

The whole thing of alcohol in skincare boggles my mind. I was looking for aloe vera gel a few months ago and most of them had alcohol in it. Like, what? You’re dehydrated and probably sunburnt if you’re using aloe gel, and the thing has something to dehydrate you even more? Nice logic.😑😑😑

Check out his sunscreen videos he goes in depth why he prefers a mineral sunscreen. He still would prefer you to use any sunscreen to protect your skin over not using any though :)

It's all personal preference, well and many sunscreens are not allowed in Hawaii where he lives due to their reef bill.
