As for the "laser" on the Su-37, it seems like they took the KAB-1500 TV guided bomb as a base. And just called it a day, just realized that

I loved how in AC5, the F-14 was able to launch 4 XLAA missiles at 4 different targets (wiping out one of the two squadrons in the last mission with a single barrage), but in AC7 can only launch two at the same time, when IRL the aircraft is able to launch up to 6 at the same time.

And also, why just one special weapon? Project Wingman has done it better. You can fully kit planes.

@@timur5219 you say that, but Su-25 are still slow as heck no matter what weapon you bring. It still sucks to bring an attacker or attacker-centric multiroles against Su-37s & not-F-22s in Wingman. The flight mechanics still urge you to bring a fighter for that.

I find nothing wrong with the """""unrealistic""""" laser weaponry since they are just norm in 2040s Strangereal, so could be in 2020s Also the stealth missile pods, which were originally for updated Hornet, are imho great addition

They seem nice but older SP weapons were more fun to use :)

I really see no problem with TLS on Su-37 & F-15E and PLSL on F-15C, MiG-31B and Su-57 In fact, I was actually surprised when I found out those stealth pods (that appear on F-22's 8AAM) were never actually used for an F-22 to carry more AMRAAMs lol

there is an image in google of 2 F22s with the same things being referred to as "stealth fuel tanks" i question it's bealivability considering it is only one and the fact it surfaced in 2021, 2 years after Ace Combat 7, but hey, it may be true somehow

@@Cloaker86 agreed, i dont think thered be a practical application of it on any aircraft really, it'd ruin stealth on the raptor, and stuff like the hornet can already carry a ridiculous amount of sidewinders and amraams, you could argue the f-16 might have a lower capacity, but for what the f-16 does, i think 6 is honestly enough, i cant think of any other aircraft that has the need to use those pods

Gotta say, the insistence on keeping up with the 3 SPW options is becoming outdated pretty quick. Sure, it's easier to keep the game balance from the devs' side. But damn doesn't it inhibit player choice more than Project Wingman or even Energy Air Force.

@@CreamTheEverythingFixer it's a game designer's job to balance that. Maybe we can let QAAM Darkstars, but the missile would be too fast to turn to its target...so it misses. Or we could just restrict certain weapons from OP planes.

@@motorsporttj1689 already replied how you can mitigate that up above. Wingman itself already implement the latter on how some endgame planes can't carry certain weapons. Besides, people are mostly complaining about Darkstars on PvP. Wingman is singleplayer.

What is wrong with Ac7 weapon? I like lasers. Yeah, we could have gotten more bomb types, but I’m ok with the game right now.

If there gonna still do the Sci-Fi weapons more then they NEED to be OP at least in 1st player or Co’op PERIOD

That's why I used mod for get all inside one bay

Also, another thing that doesn't make sense at all is why all planes has weapons pilons that are occupied, but you can only fire a certain amount of bombs or missiles at the same time? Like, the Mig-29 when you select the AGM, you can see that it is carrying 2 on each wing, but you can only fire 2 at the same time, while the remaining two missiles are there for decoration without been used, until you ran out of missiles. This happens with all the planes. plus... having the 8 AAM missile on the F-22 basically ruins the Stealth capabilities that the plane has if we use logic.

Funny how american and soviet/russian planes gets funny SPW but european can't have funny things like WMD from the alicorn for the Rafale...

So here's a couple of fun facts The TLS is now real and owned by lockheed martin It's actually better than the Ace Combat one in some aspects because the laser can actually change its point of aim instead of needing the aircraft to use it like a gunpod Issue is, it's primarily used to deal with incoming missiles and not directly target enemy vehicles, still cool and very useful nontheless The weird "box-o-missiles" when you have 8AAM or something kiiiinda exists? F-15EX has that but they're exposed and not in a box.

PA really nerfed almost all air to air missiles guidence weapons The good old holy trinity XMAA still have a little proportional guidance if you launched toward the target around 90°Angle even it still gonna missed

Dont forget that XMAA, XLAA, and XAGM also lock on 4 (or 6 for XMA6) targets at the same time, while 4AAM, 6AAM, 4AGM, and 8AGM lock the target one by one Now in AC7 we have XSDB, but despite the X, it also locks on one by one

my guess is it's a timeline thing remember AC-0 took place in 1995 while AC-7 is 2020
