hello my grandchild was placed with me by the police , the social services have visited for a year and assessed and they are happy for my grandchild to be in my care , the local authority paid for one appointment for an hour with a solicitor but wont pay for the order to be filled out or sent t the court I looked at the C1 form it is not a huge form the local authority in agreement my daughters solicitor in agreement all i have to do is fill it out and tbh it save me maybe four hours legal I dont qualify for legal aid is there any advice anywhere on how to fill in the forms , C1

Hello, can you please tell me if it's possible to be a guardian if not family or known to the child, if the parent gives consent? Also is it possible internationally too. And is there a cost? Thank you

A person who is unrelated to the family can be a special guardian. Yes.
