Hadith narrated by Abi Hurira: "The last hour won't come before the Muslims would fight the Jews and the Muslims will kill them so Jews would hide behind rocks and trees. Then the rocks and tree would call: oh Muslim, oh servant of God! There is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only "Gharkad" tree, it is of Jews' trees." Anyone who looks at the political situation in the Middle East, and not take Islam into account, will always be caught off guard.

you have got it right...a lot of people in the West simply haven't read those documents. I think a lot of Muslims don't see this sort of thing as being relevant to today--Islam is what Muslims make it to be--but the fact that text like this is elevated and revered means that its meaning might inspire at least some people.

@@travisporco Muslims who are in the minority in the West might not be taking this seriously, but those in the Middle East certainly do. In the Islamic prayer that Muslims pray 5 times a day, they pray: "Guide us to the straight way, Not (the way) of those who earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray" Here is what it means: These two paths are the paths of the Christians and Jews, a fact that the believer should beware of so that he avoids them. The path of the believers is knowledge of the truth and abiding by it. In comparison, the Jews abandoned practicing the religion, while the Christians lost the true knowledge. This is why `anger' descended upon the Jews, while being described as `led astray' is more appropriate of the Christians. Those who know, but avoid implementing the truth, deserve the anger, unlike those who are ignorant. The Christians want to seek the true knowledge, but are unable to find it because they did not seek it from its proper resources. This is why they were led astray. We should also mention that both the Christians and the Jews have earned the anger and are led astray, but the anger is one of the attributes more particular of the Jews. Allah said about the Jews, That means, 5 times a day, every Muslim prays to not be like a Christian or a Jew.

The effort Americans (Democrat wing) invest in protecting Iran, even in these hours when Israel is at war and Iran involvement becomes more and more evident, by the hour, becomes truly pathetic.
