My friend's life ended last year, both of us promised to graduate together, travel together, and to achieve our dreams together. She always loved IU and she told me to sing for her wedding in the future and it should be IU's song. I never imagined that i will sing this song on her funeral, my heart still feels heavy. She had many plans on her life, she's very cheerful, friendly and fun to be with, and now i can't see that smile again and it made me miss her even more. "To my friend who is now in Heaven, i'm sorry i can't sing to your wedding instead i sang on the day you've finally rest in peace." Thank you IU for being an inspiration and motivation for her to keep going, the accident took her life yet i'm relieved that she's not in pain anymore.

내 생각엔 이 노래가 아이유 노래중 가장 어려운 노래가 아닐까 생각이 든다. 고음도 고음이지만 무엇보다 감정이 장난아님. 노랫말 하나하나에 여러 많은 의미들이 함축되어 있는데 이것을 자신만의 감성으로 정성스럽게 노래할 수 있는 가수는 아이유뿐일거다.

I can't watch any performance of this song without tearing up. The lyrics are so devastating. Waiting for someone, wishing to find someone who may never appear again. It conveys a melancholy and longing that all of us who have lost someone precious can relate to. Thank you IU for this song.
