I have one if you’re in the market

Fantastically clean, low mileage and well-maintained platform as a starting point. It's gonna be sweet build!! 👍 Coupla quick questions: Of the various diff lockers available (ARB, MSD, Ox), which is the most reliable and long lasting? I know I don't want the ARB because of its dependence on a compressor (and I've heard it has reliability problems). I like the Eaton because of the cleanly installed electrical engagement and switching system...but again am suspicious of its long-term reliability. The Ox with its mechanical cable actuated system seems to me to be the most reliable and most easily serviced if need be (cable adjustment/repair etc). Engagement lever is not quite as nice as the electrical switch for the Eaton and ARB, but a good tradeoff if the Ox is as reliable as I think it may be. Any thoughts on the various choices based on what you've seen with each brand over the years? Also, in a previous video you mentioned the positive aspects of the 5 speed auto trans vs the 4 speed. I have a very low mile 2009 E350 with the 4R100 and it seems fine to me so far. I get 17 mpg highway with it (without lift or conversion but with a tall hightop). And as far as I know it is durable and will last a long time if I keep it serviced properly. So why do you like the 5 speed so much better? Just wondering if I should start looking for one or not prior to my 4x4 conversion.

OX is the best option. Your 09 won’t have the 4R100, either 4R75 or the 5R110

Only when the right rigs make their way to us. So, not often.

I have a Pleasure Way Traverse, 2002 E250 with only 63k miles. Given this is 60k and still lacks a camper conversion, I Wonder what my traverse could be worth with a 4x4 conversion? Time this gets built out you would be looking at what, 80k?

Not everyone wants/needs a camper conversion but yes, would hit 80k most likely

Why the transmission rebuild with such low miles? Also can locals drive by and see vans from the road? My kiddo and I are van junkies (and locals) and just want to see a couple! Huge fans!

They rebuild the transmission because they take it apart to install the shorter 4x4 output shaft. While they have it apart, they also upgrade the 4R100 transmission, which benefits from the available upgrades.

Do you mind revealing how much you paid for the van? I'm currently shopping and hoping to find something exactly like this. This is definitely a unicorn.. I've only spotted one like it, but I slept on it. The plan is to buy a kit from you guys in the following year or two.

Yep, for a UJOR built low mileage V10? Guaranteed to sell for that. Or more. 99% chance I’ll add more goodies and sell it for more than 60 👍🏻
