@@shepboird When cloning yourself at whatever age you are at that time your clone doesn't magically appear at your exact age coming out of the oven. Since it's another you in an infant stage, calling it "son" could be appropriate, esp if you identify as a main battle tank.

I am in a MK18 group and was showing my rifle. They said it wasn't clone correct because of xyz. Then showed them a picture of me with my MK18 deployed and they still went all REEEEEE. Clone groups are weak sauce LARPers.

SOF tends to be really free-wheeling anyways which makes the whole "this doesn't look right" discussion an oxymoron. There's no reason for those nerds to think X or Y mod wouldn't be used if it was both available and to the user's preference. I am pretty sure the units letting guys run beards and rolled sleeves don't care if someone is using the "wrong" attachment. Going for the general look should be fine but who actually cares about stuff that's by definition modular and swappable? Ree indeed...

Last range I went to had a 'one round per magazine' rule for non-members. My reloads were so fast that the fudds didn't believe that I was following the rule. Nearly got kicked out.

I bought the DDM4 Block ii 16 inch build with government profile barrel and I couldn’t believe the accuracy! I was knocking steel easily at 500 meters with only an aimpoint comp m4s, and I’m not a marksman by any means. I made a review or two on it on my channel. Love that rifle! But I got the URGI 14.5 upper.

My block II FSP build is the nicest, over built and over engineered firearm I own besides my HKs. Definitely my favorite carbine platform overall.

Built a Block II non-fsp and I love it, I used this video to get a lot of ideas for it, however instead of a Geissele trigger, nothing bad on them, they make fantastic triggers, I used a FosTech Echo which I modded to have a 2.5 - 3 lb trigger pull, and it works phenomenally in semi and echo mode with this rifle, and the hyper fire springs used in the trigger definitely can detonate any primer. Great video man, keep up the excellent work!

M4 SOPMOD II JUNYAAAAAAAA!

I love classical music especially when paired with combat footage. Yes I know this isn't combat but the idea is the same. Edit: We need a video of just you shooting with the entire score of "The Blue Danube".

Had one of these uppers years ago, flattest shooting hog for that rapid fire you speak of. Heavy barrel, heavy rail, good brake on the front and you're laser beams through mags.

Nart.G I’ve got one too, still need an optic, in between a vortex UH-1 and a PST gen ll 1-6 (don’t ask why but those are my best options). I just got a LaRue MBT straight bow trigger, only shot it once with a excessively large scope to test accuracy. I shot two 3/4in groups at 100 and a handful of 1in groups. That trigger is sweet for money and a big improvement to the milspec trigger that comes with the gun.

@@mrdark9916 I did end up with it, liked it a lot. It’s actually on a deer rifle right now and I have an ACOG on the M1a1 for the time being. I do think I’ll switch back to a LPVO though, the only thing I dislike about the ACOG is the eye relief.

I don't know if anyone else has said this, but I just want to compliment your efforts on the recent intro cuts of your shooting. You've really done some cool ones in the past few videos, and I feel like this was one of your most unique and creative ones yet. Love your videos and thank you for all the work you put into them!

Sitting on my couch, two kids and four dogs watching and here comes my wife super-freaking her way down the couch at me... but prolly not me, as Flannel Daddy was rolling on the phone on the armrest. I’m not mad. That flannel button’s low these days. A great throwback to one of my favorite episodes too! Also, seems great that regs are loose enough to allow for experimentation and ad-hoc development of effective platforms. Such was not life when I was in-at least where I served.

God damn that intro was absolutely outstanding.

Building my Block 2 was a not-cheap, but cool when it was done. Luckily I made sure I got myself a nice(ish) house before dumping money on a bang-bang gun.

I’ve noticed the cinematography on these videos have greatly improved, there’re some fucking amazing shots in here

14:30 The magpul angled fore grip is for those of us that have proper xxl man hands thank you. VERY comfy. If I grip the rail my fingers overlap my thumb and it takes way more effort to maintain a grip.

I built a “clone variant” of this, except I drew inspiration from the “Geissele URGI(Block 3)” in the way that I added a 14.5” DD Mid Legnth barrel with the geissele super gas block, but everything else is a block 2. I wonder if I made a good choice.

For the third time I’ve noticed you haven’t included “gender fluid toasters” but mention “attack helicopters”

Side note: If you use 7.62x54r stripper clips at that speed, you will bleed. After 4 sets of 15 rounds, our handguards were smoking.

Love my issued SOPMOD rifle! I prefer using the Elcan with dr. up top on my rifle over using the eotech. The longer rail is great for my longer arms being able to get a better purchase on the stock and is more comfortable in my opinion.

I've had no rapid fire told to me at the range. I also had some old woman try to start shooting, while me and another shooter were further up range.... some how they always miss that.

The beginning brought a tear to my eye. Beautiful! Magnifico!

Except I haven't seen very many rifles sporting a barrel under 16" with a midlength gas system. By the book, if your barrel is 16" or under, you use a carbine length gas tube. 16"-18" would call for a mid-length tube, 18"-20" uses a rifle/full-length gas tube. I was in the Air Force and I know this shit. Using the wrong gas system for a given barrel length causes over-gassing and premature barrel wear.

Got super lucky in 2007 when colt ran a small batch of MK 18's (semi of course) but otherwise a Colt factory SBR with all the correct goodies including a KAC RIS and an LMT Sopmod stock as LMT were the only supplier at that point. It is my most treasured AR type rifle with my Geiselle URGI and my LMT New Zealand clone both running close seconds. Managed to get a Vltor CASV rail system this summer and I am going to attempt a Navy EOD rifle clone this coming winter, . Thanks for putting together such a useful and entertaining video.

My roommates son needs to hear that last part. He dropped out of high school his senior year (last year), he plays some shooting game on his xbox ALL DAY every day. He has no car. He is doing nothing with his life. I tell him he needs to buy a car before he buys a gun because without a car he wont even be able to go shoot his gun. Hell, he needs to get his GED and learn a trade or something. I fucking love guns. I think everyone should have one. But priorities, man! I guarantee hes gonna ignore my advice.
