Spec Ops SHOOT Call Of Duty Weapons IRL

Ойындар

Today we have a special episode of Experts Try with Travis Haley, Firearms Expert, and Cameron Fath, Spec Ops testing out Call Of Duty guns in real life. Initially, the guys will examine different weapons and their configurations to get a feel and understand the practicality of each. We then see them take those certain weapons out into a secluded area and test them out. We’ve tried to get a wide array of weapons to try out, from regular firearms to the not-so-regular-like grenade launchers. We hope you enjoy today’s episode and remember this video has been performed by trained professionals do not try this at home!
Developed and published by Activision, Call of Duty is a first-person shooter video game franchise. With its beginnings in 2003, the series focused initially on World War II-themed games. Over the years, the series has seen games set in the midst of the Cold War, futuristic worlds, and outer space.

    Instant sub for me! Gamology: Love the new format! I wonder if would be better or worse to do a version with no music. Music, especially the rock music we've got here, adds energy to the video, and sometimes that energy makes it hard for me to effectively learn information. But that is also a design decision for the channel, to balance entertainment vs education. For example: Forgotten Weapons is entirely about education, and runs without music. Idk, something for Benet to experiment with I guess.

    If I could give a suggestion to Gamology & Shift Fire there is some gold to be mined in reacting/reviewing some videos that gravitate around the themes ie: Military so then you'd look up the KZread channels Qxir, Sam O'Nella Academy, Weird History, Simple History, The Infographics Show, etc. Spec Ops guys react to those videos kind of like a shared experience with the audience a watchalong and maybe do a little bit of review here and there. Most of those type of channels are chill with people reacting to their content as long as you give em credit and recommend them. This strat could help during content draughts or a intermission between projects.

    As for the "HK-slap": When I was in the military, I was told to basically never do it on my G3, because it would wear down the "lip" on the hold-open, making the gun unsafe over time. Especially if you're doing it just for fun. If you were ONLY using the gun in combat or you're the only user of the gun, it won't be a problem. But with tens up to hundred of conscripted soldiers doing "the slap" not only on the range but just for fun on _each_ gun, it would be costly to replace that part of the upper for every gun in the inventory of the army

    As the person who has actually used HK MP-5 in combat explains in this video, the "HK slap" is neither faster nor better than lowering it with your fingers. Many people have said that HK's manual "suggests" the slap, but I have yet to see an actual manual suggesting that over other techniques.

  • @TheOz91

    @TheOz91

    2 жыл бұрын

    I'm pretty sure the "HK slap" came from HK themselves. This is due to the roller delayed blowback needing some momentum in order to properly go into battery. I'm guessing you guys were taught to pull back on the handle and then release it, not riding it home. I'm willing to bet there were so many cases of rifles not going into battery because recruits riding the bolt handle--and the G3 never had any form of forward assist (and HK guns with forward assists are really "silent bolt closure devices" that never caught on except with the HK21 and HK23)

    Since they are a company that is all things gun, they would wanna test full auto stuff for LEOs and other people. Yeah, they defo has the licensure to get post-sample machineguns. Also, you can register NFA items under a trust since around 2014 iirc. This means if you're named under that trust, you can basically have it.

    @@TheOz91 Well, it's mainly the government had heavily "regulated" the firearms and passed the bills in order for it to make it nearly impossible for most people to get said firearms with said attachments (even functions). But civilians even for myself can technically aquire some things to get around (or break them) the said laws, for an example "I can be able to make my shotgun shorter by having a pistol grip without the stock and shorter barrel (and magazine tube) and if I don't register it as an SBR or some sort of license that can allow it (as well paying the $200 tax stamp), I would've committed a felony. There is actually a new digital/paperless processing for NFA items that will shorten the processing time from 6 months to 90 days, and promises a shorter processing time to 60 days in the future. Forgotten Weapons has the deets on that in a video released last week.
