Speavy has the unique ability to front stab. It's similarly deadly to the spy's backstab, except he just walks up to you and stabs you in the kidney repeatedly. He isn't known for his stealth, but he is at very least equally feared.

Which is exactly why the Sniper is weaker to this action because when you stab his kidney,he usually corners himself up and therefore becomes an easy target

What his large, burly build lacks in subtlety, it makes up for in intimidation. Notice how the Sniper runs from him at 8:05, this is the behavior of a man truly in fear for his life. A normal Spy would've merely been chased down and kukri'd without a second thought.

The Holiday Punch is the way I play Speavy. It lets you disguise as a friendly, and it can backstab. It can even one-shot any class with a backstab as long as you can pull off a taunt. Not very useful for chain stabs though.

for chain stabs, simply invite your friendly neighborhood original-using tryhard. once the enemies laugh, he will be magically summoned above them at high speed for a fat crit.

The thing you forgot is that a spy likes acting. Speavy should also act - pretend to be friendly, and when enemy teams suspects it the least, he chainstabs 'em.

Honestly, if you could just de-equip the minigun for a faster move speed, Heavy would suddenly have SO many new playstyles... EDIT: while some people may worry about someone so tanky being able to move faster, keep in mind that Demoknight is capable of having both the effective health of a Heavy and speed of a Scout at the same time.

Although you may have showcased the speavy, you appear to have missed the estranged cousin, the heapy (heap of garbage). This is what happens when you max out the stock revolver or amby in MVM. Extra points if you use enforcer and disguise as heavy before each shot. Two sides of the rusty nail my friend.

I played a match of 2fort against a team that had a guy who did this same kind of thing the whole game and without his gun. He even had a bind to say “backstabbed” after every kill. Really charming to see.

you can legitimately play fat spy by equipping the holiday punch and tauntkilling

lmao, I had absolutely the same idea, down to the hat loadout! I tried playing this on koth_suijin, died a few times and completely gave up on this. I commend you for moving forward with it and actually playing a few rounds with this, it was a great watch
