All seafood adhered to the local laws of Tasmania and abided by catch size limits, daily takes and no fish zones. Over the past 6 years I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish, so I only eat the fish I catch. Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing.

If you flip the cray on its back and jam the knife in at the top of the "arrow" on the carapace you will do it in instantly. I do this with big fish to stop them running a muck, also lets them bleed out in the water while im getting more and keeps em fresh and tasty.

Nice yeah i used to kill the crays in the water but then its a ticking timer on deterioration in an esky. So now i prefer putting them out once they are out of the water. But thats a good way to do it 🤙🏼

Honestly they are wayy tastier. Sweeter meat for sure. The only lobster i think tastes better than the southern rock lobster is the lobsters we get back home but thats only because of the big thick meat in the claws 🤤🤤🤤

I'd be tossing that Turkish bread away and putting it all in a tortilla wrap, the Turkish bread is too bulky and takes away the true taste of the cray.. 👍 You should also invest in a cutting board. Yeah don't forget to clip the tails.. Good stuff

Its not alive its just the nerves moving. Between the clip of me putting the knife into its head and wiggling it around and then me cutting off the tail the lobster had extra knife to the head treatment and theres about 3mins of vid of it sat still before i cut the tail off. But its just been edited out for snappier viewing 🤙🏼

poo track isn't that the kidney all you have to do is peel thin layer of meat on the top and pull it out. Those are the biggest most beautiful lobsters I've ever seen is there not a commercial market for them. First time I've ever seen 1
