Yiieeeeewww!! Always a great day when I see a new Wet Mammal video pop up in the feed. The seal footage was absolutely gorgeous, such beautiful creatures, we're so lucky to be sharing the waters with them. It's been so cold recently that I havent been out for a dive in aaaagggeess but this vid has sparked some diving motivation within me. Thanks so much as always love the video mate!
What drone do you film with mate? I’m in the market for one!
And are you using a GoPro or dji for most underwater?
Really glad I found ya page, I love the style you do.
Epic as always mate 🙌
The most venomous snake is the Dubois Sea Snake. I'm glad you survived the Banded Sea Krait. That's horrifying.
Spearfishing and Australia should never be used in the same sentence.
amazing.
Thank you!
Just to add - seal bites are notoriously bad for infection so any bite that breaks the skin needs to be medically treated asap at a hospital followed by some pretty strong antibiotics. Look up “seal finger” for further info
Loved the seals. Around Dunedin we have lots of swimming with seals and the occasional sea lion. Only had one seal and one sea lion being pesky over the 20 odd years of diving here. Many of us use float boats to keep our catch out of harms way
Awesome Phillip, id be keen to dive Dunedin i reckon it would be chilly but good! Thanks for watching!
Got the care package my man ! Thanks for taking care of us . The gear is sick ! One love brotha
Awesome! Thanks for the support man! 🤙🏼🤙🏼 really appreciate it
The seal nado 😮😮🦭🦭
Ridiculous hey! Whats next! 🙃🦈
super murk...sharky
How did you get over the fear of sharks?
Im still fully aware of them but just didnt have fear in that moment
What part of NSW do you launch and fish?
Mostly Sydney and South Coast
6 deaths in how many years? 10?
Im in my 11th year now but i actually cant remember if i calculated it off since ive lived in NSW or Australia at a whole
Beautiful animal and video
Thanks man
The female had barely scars - did she never went for mating?
damn man wow you have balls !!!
All balls no brains 🤣
what do you mean about the white arching its fins?
When the shark points its fins downwards it allows them to move a lot quicker for changing direction typical a sign that they are getting ready for an attack
FCS, stop bouncing the gopro in and out of the water!!!
Its mounted on my mask. When im on the surface of the water you bob up and down i cant help it
Mate seriously craving packing up a small backpack and just heading bush and coast after watching this. What a seriously amazing Solo experience!
Absolutely
Thanks :)
inland taipan is the deadliest snake, not a Sea Snake
Incorrect. Inland Taipan is the deadliest land snake.
to me the hammerheads is not scary looking
Looks can be deceiving
Props for not panicking when the shark was between you and your boat. Looks like she is well fed on seals and fish and knows you’re not on the menu. However, I would of been on the boat given the first opportunity. No point in playing on the tracks when you know the freight train is approaching.
Watched twice lost the rest of my hair Ace boys well done
NUMBER 1 APEX IS THE ORCE WHALE
She is clean because she is a young adult. 13' is a small. She was sizing you up wondering if you are on menu, it was that simple. The next curious human she runs into 'fuck around and find out'!
Next time you might not be so lucky
Yep thats how the ocean goes! I accept the risk every time i enter the water 🤙🏼
@@WetMammal can’t argue with that mate 😉👍
The perfect description of 'crazy'
Narooma?
Bingo!
Sea-Doo is a amazing company never heard a bad thing about them! Great video
One of the best close up footage of a white shark ive ever seen man! Youre lucky youve got to experience that! Im envious brother.
I'm sure she tastes delicious 🤤
I would have using my squid ink camouflage
Wayyy better than any shark week footage on tv
😮😮
Huge!!
By the way the sharks acting to me its not a threat. And then sometimes you just dont know until shark is in full attack mode.
Like you I have always been obsessed with great whites just an awesome animal! But your braver than me lol
She was doing the classic sizing you up and swimming around you whilst getting slowly closer to you , that is predatory behaviour. All sharks are ambush and opportunistic predators . She would not go for an attack unless you were unaware of her and she could attack without being noticed or if she thought you were close enough for a chance . I guarantee if you would have stayed long in the water her behaviour would have gotten more threatening.
I've never considered that a clean shark might be a more thoughtful / docile one. Interesting.
Hell yeah that deserves a thumbs up brother!
That's one clean, and pristine Great White.
incredible!
Wonderful to see..!❤🎉❤
Aww what a cutie just living his life. Let him chill what a beautiful animal
song name?
Doesn't matter what sort of shark it is It's F__k'n scary. Been there done that don't do it any more.
He smells you bro… the slightest quick movement in any direction he would have been on you like a fly on shit
Cool calm collected 😂😂
