When i first visited the Philippines to visit my girlfriend ( now wife ) i was truely humbled by the love and kindness of these people.My wife's 8yr old niece was at school the morning i was returning to the UK, so i phoned the school and asked if i could go there and say goodbye to her. Of course they were only too pleased that i drop by. I stopped off on route at a supermarket and got sweets, soft drinks and crisps for all 36 kids in the class. also i got a box of chocolates for their teacher. That day cost me £10, but all the money in the world could not buy the look of suprise and happiness on them kids faces, They all gave me 3 cheers and i burst into tears, 36 little angels and the Philippines had stole my heart.

Im in the philippines, I also cry when i saw you to react this video it's true in the philipppines.

Resiliency is what keep Filipinos move forward. Despite the experience of poverty, experience from a disaster, they can still afford to smile & show you their hospitality.

Every Filipino parent would taught their kids to be always be patient, thankful, persevering and greetful to all and even when life is so hard and calamities after calamities we can survive that made us Filipinos so resilient. Filipinos dont complain on foods our parents provide us we can live on everything we could have or not. Thats how life is easy or hard for us. We read our histories and our great great grandparents have taught us life to just fight on bro and life would be easy soon. Hope a better world for Philippines poorest who are in the edge.

I am FILIPINO. And I can say that we literally love and like foreigners. We treat them right like what our ancestors did. Some filipinos can ask you too have a selfie with them too. Even if you're not an actor or a famous person, Filipinos will treat you like that

‘WE FILIPINO’S ARE HAVE A GOLDEN HEART’

Love has no boundary. I remember when I was still living in the Philippines, that if we only had two cups of rice for lunch and dinner and a neighbor or a stranger asks for food we'll give the other cup so that person can also eat. Then we would go around to look for dinner later even if it means borrowing a cup of rice from a neighbor. It was a common practice to help each other out. That's the kind of community I grew up in. I now realized how fortunate I was to have experienced that. We may be poor in materials but we are rich in love and spirit with all humility. God does His work through people's hearts. The precious gift of Life on Earth may be short and temporary but it's the only way to prepare the most precious gift later which is the Eternal Life. Thank you for caring Ms Jez. I hope you get to visit and enjoy the beauty of the Philippines but more important the Hospitality and the warmth of the Filipinos. More power to you!!
