An English translation would be helpful . I like the slow repeat reading in part 3

From the bits and pieces I did understand it was more than understanding nada. From what little I understood I liked the doctor. Second, the voice is pleasant to listen to. With the second half where understanding words chosen and the explanations are in Spanish, it’s a big help to not only improve my reading and although there were words I don’t understand having never seen or heard them before, there were enough words that I do understand and I’m not going to stress over the words I don’t understand. I like that there’s a picture to bring the words more alive rather than just a bunch of words and nothing to visualize.

I like the explanation of doctora. That word I do know. But since there are masculine and feminine words, I can tell by the ending the gender of the doctor. I’ve never seen the feminine word for doctor. I’d only heard and seen the masculine form. So that reinforces masculine from feminine with the ending. I understood every word and figured out the word I’d never seen before without trying to find a dictionary to know the meaning. Very big improvement. And I’m starting to try to understand the meaning in written Spanish. That matters as I’m not unconsciously translating it into English, then reading it again in Spanish. We students sometimes get bogged down with trying to translate everything. And I’m noticing endings. The ar and ir verb endings. Grammar has always been a problem, but the context is easy to figure out those endings. No laborious grammar and tense exercises that tend to turn me off at least. It seems to come more naturally. Some words are very new in the explanation never seen or heard before. I’m not panicking because I don’t understand. I care about listening to the word, seeing it written and it doesn’t matter that I don’t understand. And I’m not expected to understand everything which takes off the pressure.

Lots of new words I don’t get in the explanations. But what I like about the speaker is that she’s speaking in normal speed. No super unnatural slowness. To learn a language it’s always good with natural speed. I don’t detect any accent so the speaker is either a native speaker or someone who learned Spanish with perfect accent. Mom could speak two dialects of Spanish. She sounded like a native. She could speak perfect Portuguese without an accent. She had the ear for it. She knew a little German and also sounded like a native. She taught me a few numbers and was very picky on accent so although I know only a few numbers in German I have no American accent and Spanish teachers with what little Spanish I can speak have said I have no accent. I don’t remember learning it from mom as a kid that dad said happened but it stuck with the accent. So to me not only are words important to master but having little to no accent.

I can only turn the subtitle on or off but there isn’t an option to translate the subtitle to other languages. It would be great if there is English subtitles at the end so we can understand the whole story. Thank you😇

You explain words that most people know, such as hospital, but do not explain other words that people might not know. For example: sonar
