This seems like it was made more for the person learning English than for Spanish. All of the English is spoken very slowly and deliberately, while the Spanish is spoken almost normal speed. Still very good material.

These videos deserve many 1000s of views . Estos video son muy valiosos para aprender español. Todas las palabras tienen un contexto que las hace más útil.

Absolutely fabulous, one of the very best Spanish language teaching videos Ever! The incremental building of the sentences and the repetition are invaluable, big thanks to Polyglot Pages for making such accessible resources!

This is the best lesson reccorded for who tries to learn Spanish. The only complaint I have is that the Spanish speaker talks way too fast. I wish he would speak at the speed, or even slower, as the English reader. The current speed is more like teaching Spanish speaking person to learn English.

Es un fabuloso programa para aprender la nueva idioma. Yo estoy tratando aprender y escribir mi vida cotidiano en espanol que necesita pensar en espanol todos los momentos. Este video ayudar mucho para mi pensar en direccion derecha. Cuando pensar, yo escribo esta momento asi que recordar las palabra en mi cabeza. Tratando mucho pero yo tengo una "Inertia" cuando para hablar. No lo se que buscando una proceso facilamente, pero este video esta ayudando para mi pienso positivamente.

@5:01 there's a mismatch error. The Spanish text variant says: "un templo escondido en la selva", but the spoken Spanish says: "un templo escondido en la jungla". Is "selva" not jungle? Or is that a dialectal variant that means the same thing?

Exactly it means almost the same , like jungle / forest / woods . Very similar meanings.

I usually try to learn by translating kids story books but I don’t have time to do it since having a baby and this channel has replaced that for now.

What does it mean “se” in Spanish ?

You should make the English part spoken faster and with a better accent. Great concept though.

This is a really great idea. However, the person reading in English has odd pronunciation. The word "adventures" he pronounced "awentures". That's my only complaint so far.
