I caught a few of those in Pensacola about 30 years ago and lots of specks and whites lots of small blue fish not much though . Like on the fishing great action .

I have no idea. Those things are crazy sometimes. I went to Alaska and fished and the best bait in Alaska for steelhead trout in the rivers.... boiled cocktail shrimp....

I used to fish for spades up in Paramour Reef. Don’t know if that’s too far for you to run, but only competition is from Coast Guard. Often catch them by chumming with small pieces of cut clam, then floating our bait on small hooks, while they cruise around the reef.

Spades are also caught every year at Buckroe fishing pier so they must come further into the bay

Cb buoy is great and most of the time we are the only boat out there

we use jelly balls here in charleston. might try the sea clams. never heard of that. sorry people are jumping your spot. never could understand why people do that. i swear they do it sometimes just to piss you off. oh well, great video, and that whistle bouy is enough to run me off any fishing hole. that would drive me nuts. be safe brother.

For whatever reason they are different here in va and will eat clams too. These fish live everywhere here and the charter boats literally go to all the spots where everyone doesnt go because it isnt crowded but people go right past pretty good spots because they see the charter boats.

Any tips on where to try coming out of Gloucester point? Also where sells sea clams? Can't find them in the West Point area. I'd appreciate any help I'm new to salt water
