This is absolutely a hidden gem of a hotel AND room in downtown San Diego. This is the King Skyline Suite with a Harbor View at the Kimpton Alma. This spacious room is 600 sqft, sleeps 4, has a living room with high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, two balconies, and the comfiest bed that we've ever slept on.

Which is apparent by the fact that the bed in this video looks like someone already tested it's comfort level. You can thank my husband for doing a flop test upon checking in.
Even better than anything I mentioned above, I am SHOCKED at the price tag of this room. Currently this room is listed at around $480 a night. For a suite this size and with this view, I thought for sure it would be closer to $750.
The staff at the Kimpton Alma are so friendly, and the food at their on-property restaurants, The Cafe and Leave of Absence, are incredible. I know San Diego has a lot to offer in the food industry, but with delicious food right on property, we didn't need to venture out of our way or deal with downtown traffic.
