Clearly a Dan Sater design. His homes are ingenious at getting you to fill out the check but long-term living in them is a whole separate matter. Just within a few weeks (after the check has cleared) you finally see it for what it really is. A Disney for grown-ups sham stage set that Michael Jackson would admire. Don't get me wrong they are aesthetically stimulating and Dan Sater is a good designer and unquestionably knows the cultural bias of his clients. I tip my hat to him there. Wherever I live I want to live in my house I don't want my house to live me.
