Türksat 6A is a satellite that will provide data relay for civil and military communications to the Anatolian peninsula as well as most of the European continent, the Middle East, and the westernmost part of the Russian Federation.

    Came in late, just in time for fueling to start. Wanted to hear the infamous “NSF Sticker Podcast” so I had to go back and start over from the beginning after the launch. Glad I did, beautiful weather shots, rainbow shots, and great conversation!!!!!

    This will greatly increase the UAV capability of the Turkish drone fleet. Now they can sell satellite controlled drones to all the way to far east and all of Africa.

    @@anonymoussoul3343 No, it's a communications satellite. It provides secure x-band military communication as well as TV broadcast. Check the Wikipedia page. Also, how do you think TR can manage it's satcom UAVs? TurkSat series is the only communications satellites TR has.
