I like how Spacegodzilla is finally not being all humanoid like in the previous games. I always liked how they made him more of a brains Kaiju than a brawn kaiju, since you can use his beam, crystals, and his hovering as an advantage against the other monsters. Now we understand why in the movie Spacegodzilla was able to use his brains against the brawned Godzilla.

@@dancingcockroaches8394 You simply play hard mode in God of destruction, he's a random encounter. When you defeat him, and other monsters after him. You check evolution mode in the main menu and you'll see Spacegodzilla being available to level up by simply selecting him and it makes him available to play as in God of Destruction: Invasion mode or King of kaiju.

Seeing MechaGodzilla that tall is terrifying to me. I get that all the Kaiju are colossal in size, but that is one huge-ass robot.

Hovering and flying stops the recovery of the temperature gauge, prevents you from using melee attacks, and makes you vulnerable to knockdown if you're struck in the air. Use that mobility and speed to get distance from enemy kaiju so that you can set up your crystals, since very few kaiju can keep up with a flying SpaceGodzilla in terms of speed. Once your crystals are up, you seem to have unlimited temperature gauge so long as they remain up and you remain in their influence, perfect for spamming beams and crystal missiles. Against buildings, it seems the best thing to do is behave like old-school Godzilla without the nuclear pulse attack - use a beam sweep to wreck buildings faster instead.

I really should come back to this game some day So many good times playing it… Except when the 100 meter kaiju showed up, then I was terrified

SpaceGodzilla is really cool, he is my favorite Kaiju, but this game did not do him justice in this game, I hope they make another Godzilla game. And next time they should do SpaceGodzilla justice.

Recently tried SpaceGodzilla and had a hell of a time maintaining a good fury multiplier. Guess I need to upgrade his charge and temperature guages. I couldn't crack 100 meters for the gold star with him, and the stage with Super MechaGodzilla and Super X was a nightmare.

SpaceGodzilla's unreasonably difficult to chain Fury with. At the very least, summoning his crystals is almost guaranteed to destroy giant buildings or generators in one shot, and you can at least levitate, fire your Corona Beam attack, and rotate him midair to hit buildings that may just out of reach.

Space Godzilla is the most badass Godzilla ever i have to say but not more than Godzilla GMK and Godzilla 2003 and Godzilla 2014.

I like the core of this game, just wish they had alternative objectives to make it less monotonous. I agree that an open world would be pretty sweet. Sadly, I don't know that a game like this would ever get the budget to competently execute something like that.

No yeah, SpaceGodzilla's pretty awful, especially when his energy cells and energy recharge haven't been upgraded much. Best to take Easy mode routes with him, and take advantage of his hovering Corona Beam attack that can be rotated to the left or right when destroying buildings or SDF units.

It's too bad the PS3 version wasn't nearly as good as the PS4 variation don't get me wrong I still enjoy the PS3 variation and I play it almost every week because I just love getting to play what's basically a Godzilla simulator it's like one of the best pictes for a game that I can think of but after seeing the PS4 variation I realized there's a lot that we were missing out on

I think he's awesome. One of my favorite Godzilla incarnations. I like the film a lot too, despite some drawbacks with the protagonists. The Hawaii scene might be one of my favorite sequences from the Godzilla movies.

SpaceGodzilla was so nerfed. He should’ve easily been a total powerhouse in this game. Instead, his durability is pitiful and his attacks are far too ineffective. Any game where SpaceGodzilla can be shot out of the sky by basic JSDF projectiles is not doing him justice as a character.

Godzilla 9999 yes but its not a fair fight since you start out with no upgrades and he has no good melee attacks to make up for the long energy bar tofill up
