Kiryu did defeat Destroyah in the comics. With his absolute zero cannon, his other weapons, and he’s built around 54’s skeleton plus having 54’s soul and assisted by the AC3 White Heron, Kiryu is basically unstoppable. That’s why he’s my favorite robot kaiju and my favorite robot monster of all time.

I also love the fact that the soldiers just scream everytime they get stepped on in tanks or get destroyed in jets or helicopters I love that so much 4:15

The thing I love about playing as Kiryu in this game is because 1.He is very speedy and maneuverable,and his best attacks don't take long to execute. 2.His Rail Gun attack ALWAYS knocks the enemie back. 3.You can shoot front rockets after performing different moves 4.He has a pretty good amount of attacks 5.He is one of the faster kaiju in this game 6.His roar lasts quite long and doesn't take long to execute

Ya I know destroyahs weak to temps and stuff trust me I’ve seen that movie so many times but in one hit? Like Godzilla’s infenent HEAT ray dealed some heavey damage but dident kill em! Type-3 Kiryu is a total badass

I kind of wish that Kiryu had a spot in Invade Mode, just as an homage to the Kiryu Saga where Kiryu goes berserk. I think I could have been an interesting concept having kaiju be present in both Invade and Defend Mode like Battra, Godzilla (2014), Godzilla, Rodan and of course, Kiryu.

Agreed! I wish there was a way to choose whether to be an invader or defender. It's not quite as fun trying to prevent a city from being destroyed, when being a giant monster is all about the destruction, no matter your allegiance!

Yeah, remember that Type 3 Kiryu is only suppose to be 60 meters tall (I thought he was much larger because of how awesome he was in this game until I searched up the actual height).

Pov When You The Hedorah Starts At Disaster Risk 3 You: *REGRETS CHOOSING DISASTER RISK 3 AT THE BEGINNING* 0:14

I think it would have been COOLER (extra XP if you get it) if the Hyper Maser was his Backward + Circle attack (much like MechaG's Cross Attack Beam and SMG Plasma Cannon, for me it's a cannon, not a grenade), so his Roar + Circle attack was a Volley (like the other three MGs before him), or, much better, firing only the Hyper Maser AND his Mouth Twin Masers, emulating a scene from Tokyo S.O.S. (which will work better if he retained the ability to remove the backpack and railguns :( ). Seriously, they added MG2's ability to remove the head if grabbed at 20% health but they removed Kiryu's ability to get his jetpack n' guns destroyed? What the hell, bro! Imagine if it was optional to remove them, and the Garuda from SMG! Like a Roar + Triangle attack! Play as Headless MG2 (still retaining: Roar, which is, since his a robot, a noise emited form somewhere, not an actual "Roar", Defense Neo Barrier and Volley), MechaGodzilla UX-02-93 (sans the Garuda, with the Volley now adding the Plasma CANNON!) and weaponless Kiryu! WITH ENHANCED MOBILITY!!! Also, imagine, much like fighting SMG and Super X in the PS3 version, fighting Garuda and Heisei MG! (each one on their own ,but alongside eachother!)

Steppen Wolf 2018 neat, but I think the volley (with Backpack and Railguns) should be a volley with EVERYTHING, but without the fancy stuff, I agree. They should also have 2002 Kiryu because there is both Showa Mechas.

Is some people are confused why Kiryu and MechaGodzilla are fighting eachother it is because Kiryu is a GDF will MechaGodzilla is a Alien so yeah

This and Godzilla Save the Earth are the two big 3D Godzilla games I haven’t gotten to play. Personally, this game looks fun, however, it seems to have its pros and cons. It’s a shame that the game doesn’t include MOGERA, Godzilla 2000, or the Kiryū saga Godzilla. Speaking of Kiryū, it’s a travesty that you can’t just destroy the cities as the G-Force Mechas. They were fun to go on rampages with in Destroy All Monsters Melee and Unleashed. Granted, Unleashed had a similar problem to a lesser degree in that you couldn’t fight Gōtengō with a GDF monsters. Two final gripes are that Kiryū is the SOS version instead of the Godzilla against Mechagodzilla version, and that the Gōtengō is unplayable again. 😭 All of that being said, this game looks gorgeous! I also like how they use Super Mechagodzilla instead of the normal Mechagodzilla 2 and give Kiryū his battle pack. Another pro is the inclusion of the Super X series and the Gōtengō! Despite its flaws, I wish this game were on PC so I could play it.
