Blade in one hand, drinking horn in the other and a booming laughter in the face of oblivion, now that is the way to go! FOR RUS AND THE ALLFATHER!!!!!

Space Wolves are a great example of what Tyrion said to Jon Snow on the wall. "Wear it like armour and they can never use it to hurt you." That of course works only in universe, not in fanbase or memes. Space Wolves were called the Emperor's dogs more times than I care to count in Horus Heresy books. Traitors are trying to use this comparison to hurt and belittle them. Unfortunately for them, Executioners are proud of this. They are proud to serve as Emp's hunters, they are proud to kill for the warrior god. Whether you agree with this line of thinking, whether you like the Wolves or not, they don't give a crap. They're proud of what they are and calling them dogs is not an insult, it's almost a compliment even.

I know Majorkill's voice anywhere, I'm so glad he was included in this. Not only that, but from 1:20:50 onwards, freaking Wolf Lord Rho. I love his voice. That section of his was so awesome.

I started my 40k experience with the Wolves years ago. Never looked back, never changed chapters. This vid made me fall in love with the Space Wolves all over again. It's interesting when one thinks of the Trial of Morkyi, that and the Cannis Helix? That there are parallels between that and stories of the legends of the Wendigo, Lycanprothy, or even Skinwalkers. While yes these are more of shape shifters, you can't help but wonder if the Cannis Helix was far older in origin beyond Fenris, and far more ancient as well. Something the Emperor of Mankind might have allowed to stay in the Geneseed for Leman Russ, as Primarch when he was created. While the Space Marines were called the "Angels of Death" by the Emperor himself. The Space Wolves are seen as the Emperor's Executioners. Something to think about for a Space Chapter's founding dating back to even the Great Crusade.

Every chapter of space marines consider their members kin, but none have as close a bond to its members as the spacewolves. Fury of primal rage is set deep within their brood, and it may be outshone by the black rage and red thirst at times- but very few can match their steel with the diamond hard fangs of the Space Wolves.

Me: *Clicks on the video* Nice, another Baldermort video *Sees the time length* Okay, things are getting serious now!

I loved this telling. Especially having Wolf Lord Rho. Such a fantastic job.

Loved the speech about comforting the men and forgetting the wrong of the day etc, this story is fantastic.

Listening to their heraldry, I'd love a recount of a Space Wolf, Salamander and Catachan Guard sharing campfire war stories and tales of their personal conquests in the fluff or in a story like this

The voice acting at first had me scratching my noggin, I'm sure I recognize these voices... And then ya boy majorkill as the younger spacewolf ^^ and then wolf lord rho... love it, my two favourite lorehammer dude's, except baldy of course x

Before I say this I would just mention that this was incredibly well done and entertaining, thank you Baldermort, great story telling and exposition. Now that I hopefully have prefaced this carefully enough, I just wanted to add that I now understand the TTS Emperor joke where he says: "All I got out of that was WolfWolfWolfWolfWolfWolfWolfWolfWolfWolf and Wolf", I had no idea that so many things were named "something Wolf". I'm just amused at that I'm sorry. I'm Scandinavian, don't get me wrong, I LOVE them being a kind of representation of my people (nordic people).

There actually is an explanation in lore. The rout never refers to itself as space wolves, but Vlka Fenryka or the rout, they have other names but these are as a whole. And the reason why so much stuff is called "something wolf" is because either the fenrisians never cared to translate it for the imperial scribes, or the equivalent word in gothic doesn't exist. Have a nice one and be safe.

This has been better then most audio books I have ever listened too! Amazing! Thank you for your honor.

The ending is definitly something the wolves would do. And it´s absolutely hilarious because of it!

What a great accounting of the Warriors of Fenris, the Sons of Russ, the indomitable Space Wolves! The Wolves have been my favorite faction in all of Warhammer 40k ever since I first got into it after picking up the the Space Wolf Omnibus what now seems like many years ago. Thank you, Lore Master Baldermort for lending your prodigious wit and glorious voice to the honor of Sons of Russ and to attempt to dispel the misconception that those most honorable and loyal servants of the Emperor are not but uncouth, braggarts. May the Emperor's light shine on you every day, may you drink and eat with the gusto of Sven the Gentle, and may the Inquisition never find you interesting.

This is tremendous. When Olaf started to explain by the fire i was stunned to recognise the voice. I had to read the description to realise these were not plays on accents. I am very happy.

The interspersed story is masterful. As much as I love the lore, the story keeps me listening. The fire to know what is about to happen next in this incredibly crafted tale keeps me completely rapt and on the edge of my seat. Drinking in every syllable of lore and story alike. Im only halfway through but i can and will confidently state that this is both another great piece of art and a wonderful lesson on the space wolves.

Welcome to the fold! There's lots of good KZread that have great videos. 40k Theories, Ocular Imperia, Luetin, Majorkill, all of these I suggest. The guys in this description I don't know about, but I'm looking forward to seeing them.

As a mostly Eldar player love me some Harliquin and Dark Eldar models the glorious space vikings the space wolves were always the army tempting me towards the imperium such a great part of the faction I mean who does not want to charge thy foes riding giant wolves.

I just got into 40k as a hobby and my first Space Marine chapter I'm building up are my Space Wolves. They have the best beards in 40k bar none.

@@Darknessblade4me Yup. Its not shown in the tabletop, but not all rebellions and traitors are linked to chaos. Far from it. Hell, the war for Badab wasn't a chaotic one for the most time, caused by marine chapters that wanted to distance themselves from imperial administration as to better fullfill their duty of containing a warp storm. It just escalated from here, until chaos happened. But until that point? It was marine traitors unrelated to chaos indeed.

@@thorveim1174 to this day i believe that the war for badab was caused by a petty Inquisitor. Things went south at the wrong Time far to often to be a coincidence. Specifically the Inquisitor that malakim phoros told to fuck off (politely of course).

Omg, the collaboration of lore tubers in this vid is amazing. I love that you brought on Majorkill and the others!

Before watching this epic video, I thought that the Imperial Fists video was the pinnacle of KZread content. Now, I know better. The Space Wolves are always the last ones standing, and they’re always standing tall.
