Venus once may have had oceans and a similar climate to Earth. Now it is hostile and unforgiving. Venus could be considered Earth's evil twin.
Our time has given us technology that is better than ever, and our will to explore the universe is forever pressing. Now, we have gotten better at guiding our satellites and landers, our telescopes are more powerful, and our knowledge of our own planet is growing. With these new and advanced tools, we can explore the New Frontier like never before.

    Unless your planet is made of Talc it's really looking like without sizable surface water plate tectonics just can't get started, or it grinds to a halt relatively early, without either a generous rotation speed or in some cases the right kind of core, the Planets Magnetic Field would also crash, leaving the atmosphere full of various Oxides and heavily mono in gas ratios, almost all greenhouse generating. When we become technical enough we can bust up the atmosphere's CO2, find us a nice proper sized water comet & John Deere it back, and there you go

    Interesting the first place they don't look, is the polar regions? While humans are banned from ever reaching our South Pole. Why, one has to wonder?

    Wow, horrible science that doesn't address the Hows and Whys of Venus' slow retrograte rotation That alone could well explain how we got the Venus we see today
