Still, the DLC spam is huge, when i buy a game, i expect everything included, sadly, this no longer is the case. Atleast this one is free, hope they'll continue...

@@TheIceThorn I don't like having to use mods. The more stuff that is in basegame, the better. I only ever really subscribe to mods of things I want added to the basegame, but never actually end up using them because they're often buggy and sometimes never updated and can cause more crashes. Like the conveyor hinge - been on the workshop forever, but I never ended up using it because it caused issue. I wanted it in base game, and it was my highest requested thing since planets. It's much better than the mod ever was.

I'm still salty they never got around to making the game actually perform. What point is a block building game if any halfway serious amount of user made grids just chokes it to hell ? The block limits are ridiculously low on multiplayer servers. I expected more.

You could be like other devs, and be like, "just use mods," but no! You understand the value of improving the vanilla game! Vanilla builds are the only BPs I make, because I know I can use them in ANY server! Thank you so much, KSH, for continuing to be one of the best developers in the gaming industry! You guys have yet to disappoint me! Been here since back when we just had funky looking asteroids. You make me proud to play this game!

MUCH easier to make compact turrets... I tryed to make a artillery-car but it failed because of the rotor. I had to use the normal advanced rotor and the big conveyors and it looked like shit xD Now we have a lot more options :D

@@badgerwildgaming6908 How about this: Use it as small grid connectors for refueling small H2 powered rovers! Stick the advanced rotor base in your rover where you want your "gas cap" to be. Then, use the advanced rotor part as the nozzle on your gas station. You could even make a mechanical arm to access gas caps at different heights and orientations (use ArmOS script for arms too complex for custom turret controller block). Once the nozzle is in place, activate the "attach" function for the advanced rotor. You can even setup a one button press connect and disconnect. Setup a timer block on the rover that commands the advanced rotor to turn on, then attach, then sets your H2 tank or H2 tank group to stockpile. Next, have it start a disconnect timer block. The disconnect timer block will be set with a timer, say, 30 seconds. After the time expires, the disconnect timer block will turn off H2 stockpiling, command the advanced rotor to detach, then turns off the advanced rotor (saves some power). There you go! Refueling H2 rovers without needing huge connectors is now possible! This connection can also recharge micro rovers/drones, too.

Hell yeah! Keep at it Keen. Believe it or not, you're doing a much better job managing your game as compared to other developers. It's bizarre that such a small studio can accomplish so much when other larger studios cannot hit that same bar.

Keen is just an amazing studio there is such a small amount of game studios that listen to the user base on their own. Thank you all for your great work, you make the game so much better with each update it is kind of unreal.

Legit teared up a little from the joy this update will bring. Thank you guys for an awesome addition to an already awesome game. Cant wait to see what the future bring us.

Yes, always updated. Bought every dlc. Keen is aware via discord. Every new piece of dlc from this new update is showing, except for the 2 new skins. Its a bug apparently.

I've been waiting for armored conveyors for so long, they're finally here!!

Was holding my breath for an elevator/rail transit system. Oh well, hopefully one day. Still a ton of great additions tho!

Terraria would give that a run for its money. Also they never had any paid DLC, it's always been free. But I would have been happy to pay $4.99 for this update just because I enjoy this game so much and want to support the devs for keeping SE alive for so long I feel like it's fair.

Nice to see the 3-way T-junction. Now the only junction I really miss is the 4-way junction cube with 2 flat walls, to build proper hidden conveyors inside walls

That would be amazing. I normally cover up the exposed side with a flat armor panel, but it would be nice to not build around that.

This will frick up a ton of addons and ships that used Mods for this, however... this is so needed for base game that its a thumbs up from me even if I have to convert 50+ ships

Space Engineers continues to peak, every single update makes the game better when I think "it's already perfect right?"

That's a pretty huge ask! NPC AI is very challenging, especially for a game like this.

@@CalebSalstrom They already have good AI that can find and track you, they only need to make a story mode that creates auto generated enemy bases, custom quests and encounters that fly directly at you. And an end fight with some rare items etc. The quest line will be made completely over the trader stations but bases spawn anyway, but you can disable the story mode in the world options.

Wow, Keen SWH is amazing. Thank you for being dedicated to your work. It has brought me thousands of hours of entertainment.

This game is amazing. Hands down, the best game I have ever played in my entire life. The creativity and freedom is off the charts, with little to no frustration. Seriously, well done!

I have over 2500 hours in this game and along every step it has surprised me. From when planets where first announced to the update on a whole new economy system, these devs continue to push for a small community of players. As someone who primarily only builds small grid large ships it makes me happy to see some stuff added that I have wanted for a long time, especially the neon tubes for small grids. I will continue to play and love this game, as every update brings something new and exiting that has me itching to get on it. One thing devs, one thing I ask for. Full small ship large ship block alternation. So that every block can be used on a small grid, things that have been beautifully modelled such as: corridors, furniture and even other blocks that aren’t necessarily useful in a small shop work well purely for aesthetic versions. The likelihood of this being read by the team is small but regardless I want to thank you all for creating a game that I will never forget. Space engineers was like my Lego. to see this game transcend my expectations every step of the way has been a honour.

this update mostly only brings in new blocks, but its still just a huge addition to the game and i love it

Seeing the conveyor converters and small advanced rotor brought a tear to my eye.

Wow this is a big update! Looks great, lots of stuff we've been wanting for a while!

As I watched this video, I verbally exclaimed "THERE IS GOOD IN THIS WORLD!" And my mother proceeded to give me a very curious look and asked "what video are you watching?" (I declined an answer)

All of this is awesome, SE is really making a comeback this year and I'm here for it!

This is outrageous, what do you mean free! I can't support my favorite game developer company for their hard work creating possibly my favorite addition to the game. I mean those windows are gorgeous, the T conveyer and ladder shaft I'm going to use on all of my large grids starting when I get the game running on my computer again. The past three attempts almost melted my computer. When I first bought the game it ran but now my computer can't handle the GOAT.

Thank god for the new camera overlay. That's the best fix in this update

Stand-outs for me are the new conveyors with attachment points (no more free-floating conveyor tubes after taking damage?), the conveyor converter (so many utility ship designs can be helped by this), and the small advanced rotor (refuelling player made torpedoes?). What solid update, well done! The blog post says the lead indicator works in gravity and there's a new camera overlay!

Loved the video @Space Engineers! Can't wait for the next video or Stream/Vod guys! This Update will make designing your Starship, Starfighters or even bases that much easier; Glory To Klang. And now, a reading from Captain Jack's "The Book of Klang". "After a Feirce Battle against Redwood's Enemies, Jack called the Colonists for a status report. Their Ship, The Eclipse, was badly Damaged and needed Repairs and More Supplies. Even the Name was reading as 'Eclipe' and needed to be rebuilt. As they worked on the repairs, their materials started running low. By the Grace of Klang the Wreckage from the Battle was still drifting nearby and Klang said unto the Colonists 'Let There Be...' But before he could finish the chief engineer, Mr. Castle, pulled out his grinder and cried out 'SALVAAAAAAGE!!!!!" To which Klang said 'Yes Castle, Let there be Salvage.' This is the Way, Amen."

The T junction are so good. I also love the reinforced conveyors as they offer air tightness on some sides, so you can take far less space in a base for exemple (just 1 conveyor block instead of 1 conveyor plus 1 block for airtightness)

Wow. Fantastic. I might actually go back and try to build that dream ship I started a dozen times but never got far enough because the pieces didn't exist. That was still way in early access in a year or two in. I'd say it's pretty much the game I hoped it would be short of some performance issues but that's expected for what it's doing.

Thanks so much for the new stuff! There's so many ideas that can be added yet, so I'm looking forward to see what else will come. Personally, I'm hoping for some multi-way doors and boarding ramps for big and small ships.Maybe some armor block integrated engines so designs flow better.

Some really cool stuff here. Wish it was a little more comprehensive but I get that you are picking favorites. Hopefully this continues to happen. If you did this every few months the game would be almost perfect within a year or so. I do wish that more stuff was available for small grid though. You know damn well more people are building small grids gone wild.

For some of those parts its about clang time that they where included into the game. The Conveyor Converter for example. Since i found this thing as a mod i couldnt play SE without it anymore. The most of my small ship builds are based around this part.
