This just means they finally added trauma to the game. I don't think I could emotionally handle the loss of a little robot that follows me around, especially with a little face like that.

Alright, this couldn't have been more perfectly timed. Been making a ship with an AI and was wondering how I was going to make it talk without needing tons and tons of LCD's, while also having no knowledge on how to make a script for a multi text LCD

I really like Space Engineers, and I just wanted to suggest four improvements that would greatly enhance the fun. Configurable Button Panel: I would love to have the option to have more buttons on a panel. Sometimes I want to do more things but need a large room to perform more actions. It could be a panel where you can adjust the number of buttons, for example: number of rows and columns, and depending on the button, have colspan. It would be even better if they could be placed on screens that come with the systems (even inside the cockpits of ships it would be nice to be able to click without having to press the numbers). A Programmable Block with a Visual Programming Option: It would be great to control some things more efficiently in Space Engineers. A visual programming option with get, set, and flow control would be fantastic, saving on buttons. (This could be an extra function in the existing blocks.) Better AI Functions: Recording AI to perform functions is great, but it would be nice to have some features for orientation, preparing to dig to the ore, and returning the ship from a GPS position. Ambience: Some things to do inside the ship would be interesting because sometimes we just pilot them and park them, but it would add more life. I know there are toilets and so on, but having an option in the settings to use them, and maybe a scientific bench for making seeds and cultivating inside the ship, some blocks for maintenance, etc. Nothing too complex, just something simple that would increase the dynamics inside larger ships.

I also like Space Engineers and I also want to speak out on this topic. I'll start with the points 1. Each button in the game is a separate object. I do not know if it is possible to make an area with a configurable number of buttons, but I saw something similar in mod "Button Pad - Touch App" About the interactive cockpit. I am skeptical about the possibility of turning the SE into an MFS2020. Although I would not mind the opportunity to poke buttons inside the cockpit or on the control panel from the new addition. 2. I didn't quite understand what you mean about the "Visual Programming Option". But if we talk about ordinary programming, the developers are trying to reduce the number of scripts (actually, the "user turret controller" and "Automatons" were created for this purpose). By the way, it is quite reasonable. 3. I agree with you here. 4. If you want life support, then mods have been invented for this for a long time, for example "Plant and Cook" in conjunction with "Eat. Drink. Sleep. Repeat!", or "Daily Needs Survival Kit" (choose which one you want). By the way, the same EDSR is implemented on vanilla mechanics and even on one vanilla resource (organic; gravel and ice do not count). Believe me, there are enough mods to complicate life. But, complicating the game by developers will not lead to anything good, especially for beginners. Well, or you are a fan of Escape from Tarkov and want a space Tarkov ... Although, it's a shame not to have EDSR functionality in the game, as for me... And, servicing a ship or a huge station can easily turn from an adventure into a problem or routine. Although this is sometimes not enough. In fact, everything that you have proposed is either made by mods in full, or in one way or another. Of course, I also want the game to be better and have more content, but I can understand the developers. You can't please everyone, alas, that's how the world works...

That looks pretty sweet! Will there be some functionality for the inter grid communication system like remote triggering for example? Say batteries are low or cargo is full on a remote grid, then a light or sound block gets triggered on a main grid. One thing that I would love to use this for is manually triggering actions on remote grids, like triggering a docking sequence on a fighter from my carrier cockpit or telling a remote mining outpost to start or stop production based on the needs of my main base. There possibilities are endless! The IGC is a powerful and amazing system to have, but it feels under used in the game. Some things can be accomplished with scripts and trickery (at least on PC), but it would be great to be able to do some of it with just vanilla blocks. Probably just a fantasy, but perhaps you could send target locking data to remote grids too. I'd love to have this feature for remote grids to have escort ships attack my target or easily tell a fighter to follow (escort) a friendly or neutral target for example. Specifying a locked target for a remote grid could have endless possibilities!

That seems very promising

This is nice, but I would like to see fully automated mining, like the drone will search the resources without player, the chunks would load when a structure is entering this chunk, not only players. We could make a script if we had ability to use ore detector in scripts. Drone would search for asteroids by using raycast, and then by flying near them it would use ore detector. But we cannot use it in scripts, so its impossible. Also it would be nice to make building drones, which had a block that could find nearby reachable unfinished buildings and build them.

This is going to be interesting... though i hope there are limits on the chat and how it works. Can see this spamming global chat unless it can only broadcast in antenna range. Which would help resolve the issue.
