That LCD screen image looks like a rom of tanks. Combined with the phrase "warfare on the horizon", perhaps we'll see new blocks that better support tanks and ground vehicles? No ideas what that might be, but it fits a theme.

The piston that is below the merge block also appears to be new and i think we will be getting subgrid printing or something similar judging by the rover's wheel printing without any player intervention

Actually i dont think so but dreaming absolutely is allowed! 😊 There is no piston to see. It sits deeper. The block under the merge is a round interior and the projector probably sits under it. And under that there is the piston. 😉

My first though was that the projector is hidden like you described, but I'm still hoping for sub-grid printing. Also curious about the fender blocks directly above the rear wheels. I don't recognize them.

i was just thinking the other night after building some of the new inset light blocks, it would be great if we had something like this for LCD or Text Pannels too. Make it part of the wall and save that block space for something else kind of like how you can do with the "Full air-vents/fans"

From the second teaser of the Jeap, the projection allows the wheels to be built when there are blocks around them. Currently in-game they won't place as other blocks are to close to the wheel, requiring you to merge block blocks into place around the wheels to get a similar wheel well but would be impossible to replace the wheel if it brakes or detaches. This means 1 of three things, 1, the new suspension blocks have the wheel fully connected to it, so it cant detach allowing to to place snugly on a pre-build hole. 2, The build/ bounding box or physical shape box around the wheels and possibly other items similar to what they did with allot of blocks somewhat recently has been shrunken to allow wheels to spawn, 3, In conjunction with the bounding boxes changes it could mean subgrid projecting and welding is or is close to being a thing in vanilla, This could be why they hid the projector for the Jeep which is either just below the Cylindrical block the merge block sits on or it could be behind the piston on another subgrid

Thats good news. Rigth now my Dedicated Server is on hold, waiting for the cold season to start, so my buddies and me come again together on a newly created Server. So new blocks would be awesome, to spice up the new builds. So i look forward to these updates. Thanks for news!

Very exciting news. More blocks to make unique et realistic build. I want more of the functions integrated to a wall like the inset light block and the air vent block it will help to save more space and be creative.

That big red circle thing in the background is probably a new jump drive skin, but I personally am praying for it to be a new connector type!

My initial thought was a giant ventilation fan, but we definitely hella need some sort of walkable connector, since I know of like 3 competing player-built standards

There is nothing to do once you top out on pcu or kill your sim speed from overbuilding. No NPC engineers, no real life whatsoever. Just drones and some very dated space pirate ships. And griefers in official. Can't forget about those sweaty desperates. We don't need more reskins and weapons. We need the things to actually use them on.

The only two weapon related things that I would like are long range tracking missiles and radar. The game definitely needs some NPCs and more NPC ship encounters. Like every couple of in game hours hostile factions try to find you with radar and if you hide yourself or are too small they don't attack.

Finally a more compact suspension.

if you look above where it says decorative pack #3, it says Warfare Evolution, so its possibly just 1 DLC which is a decorative pack, for warfare stuff

i hope tank tracks will be in the update

Inset LCD game changer

The welding of that rover might be sped up or they might be improving welding. Even if they arent changing it I'm totally stealing the hidden projector on a submerged piston idea.

Imagine the wheels not being new, but the setting to change the wheel width 🤔

I think the wheels simply use a different geometry; currently they are treated as spheres I believe which is why the suspensions are so large. Changing them to cylinders allows for compact suspensions but also causes physics issues in the engine as it currently exists...

The interior wall above the blocks with the integrated lcd are just the sci fi interior walls we already have, good vid otherwise I wonder if the wheel suspension we see might be double sided (as in one block, two wheels), but it might just be a way smaller one than we currently have

I think LCDs are new. One looks like inset in block other is like 2 LCDs in one block😮

it's been revealed this morning that Keen is releasing the decorative patch on Thursday this week and the short gif they showed appears to include fan blades for vehicles, not just that huge one from the first video. Does this mean that the update will now include atmospheric effects in game? maybe I'm being too optimistic, but from the "leak" to the release of the update is a pretty fast turn around and based on the previous releases, the patches and updates are happening faster and faster. This makes me very happy.

The suspension attach at the TOP? Bikers, rejoice, our time is now, wooo! edit Ok, not the top here, and maybe not at all, but the profile of that suspension still enables motorcycle style forked wheels.

3:28 Was that a fire extinguisher beneath the rover? Thought it might be a light, but looks like there are decals in the next angle after that one. could also be that it was something new added already since I haven't had the chance to play since the automation update

If you are talking about the rear wheel then nope! That is the back of the already existing bench. 😉

the larger of the two frames might be a willis duct on its side?

Is the parts rack with the small steel tubs in the back new? I don't remember seeing it in other packs, I could be wrong.

No, there is just a round interior block on it. You dont see the actual piston.
