Rafiji was probably the greatest singer in Bollywood but SPB for me is even better. I dont even speak any south languages but his songs in any language make me feel like I am in heaven. Rest in peace our greatest music legend.

In the West, they ran out of musical talent & now listen to Indian music and film songs. They are discovering our talent NOW, that they missed, when these great singers were alive.

Rafi ok but ye chutya spb koi singer hai sala. Kushore is no1 and best singer of Bollywood india. Kushore, Hero voice, He man voice, ultimate feel and expressions. Spb is a local, regional nulla singer, voice quality and feel both zero. Rafi is good but spb totally nulla singer.

I wish the reality shows go back to this format...no unnecessary drama within the show...decorum maintained by the contestants as well...this was good, idk why the channels have resorted to betting on theatrics more than the actual singing. Anyway, SPB sir so gracefully touched on the human aspect of being an artist as well. Hats off to him.

Rafi is a once in a Millenia Artist. We are fortunate that he was born in our era and we get to hear so many such masterpieces. Ofcourse the phenomenal number of genius music directors like Shankar Jaikishan, SD Burman, OP Nayyar, Madan Mohan, Lakshmi Pyare, Kalyanji Anandji & the eternal Pancham had a huge role to play in creating such fabulous songs. Without musicians like Rafi, Latha, Kishore, Asha, Mukesh, Mannadey, etc plus the Lyricists, who rendered those songs so beautifully, the golden era of music would never have been happened from the 1960's to 1980's. God bless all these geniuses. How fortunate for all of us music lovers that these masterpieces have been created and immortalised...

Both Yesudas and SP Balasubramanium treated Rafi Saab as their idol and guru. Rafi Saab is Not a singer, he is an institution and this is something Manna Dey Saab mentioned. I tried this song and realized how difficult it is, after few attempts I stopped. Now I know.

Now that it's established that he's a Telugu, down South we had access to Hindi songs through Vividh Bharati radio. SPB would have picked Rafi's songs from there. SPB is just magical exactly for this reason. He didn't know the language per se, but he knew how to sing it. Man's a legend for a reason. 50k songs in his lifetime. Don't think any male singer in the past, present or future can reach anywhere closer.

In the West, they ran out of musical talent & now listen to Indian music and film songs. They are discovering our talent NOW, that they missed, when these great singers were alive.
RIP SPB, Rafi Sahab. Two absolute artists and gems of Indian music industry.

Rafi ok but ye chutya spb koi singer hai sala. Kushore is no1 and best singer of Bollywood india. Kushore, Hero voice, He man voice, ultimate feel and expressions. Spb is a local, regional nulla singer, voice quality and feel both zero. Rafi is good but spb totally nulla singer.

Spb is one of the best singers India has ever produced
I wish the reality shows go back to this format...no unnecessary drama within the show...decorum maintained by the contestants as well...this was good, idk why the channels have resorted to betting on theatrics more than the actual singing. Anyway, SPB sir so gracefully touched on the human aspect of being an artist as well. Hats off to him.

@@Ahmad-ik6vz People are very appreciative other singers in the subcontinent. That's my favourite thing about the singers here. Listen to how many guys Sonu calls his Guru, even his contemporaries like Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan.
Rafi is a once in a Millenia Artist. We are fortunate that he was born in our era and we get to hear so many such masterpieces. Ofcourse the phenomenal number of genius music directors like Shankar Jaikishan, SD Burman, OP Nayyar, Madan Mohan, Lakshmi Pyare, Kalyanji Anandji & the eternal Pancham had a huge role to play in creating such fabulous songs. Without musicians like Rafi, Latha, Kishore, Asha, Mukesh, Mannadey, etc plus the Lyricists, who rendered those songs so beautifully, the golden era of music would never have been happened from the 1960's to 1980's. God bless all these geniuses. How fortunate for all of us music lovers that these masterpieces have been created and immortalised...

Both Yesudas and SP Balasubramanium treated Rafi Saab as their idol and guru. Rafi Saab is Not a singer, he is an institution and this is something Manna Dey Saab mentioned. I tried this song and realized how difficult it is, after few attempts I stopped. Now I know.

My father used to see this and now has more knowledge than current judges😂😂😂 Sonu sir got so much exposure to real music those days. No doubt why he is so versatile

SPB 's versatility was in his humility. He magnanimously shared his life and experience in shows. It was great listening to him and also learning life's philosophy to happy living. I'm sure all fans miss him and his voice.
The expression of women when SPB starts signing is priceless and rewarding ❤
SPB Sir is a lesson in humility in the face of nationwide fame. Today's tiktokiya generation have much to learn from this legend who always presented himself with simplicity and class.

Now that it's established that he's a Telugu, down South we had access to Hindi songs through Vividh Bharati radio. SPB would have picked Rafi's songs from there. SPB is just magical exactly for this reason. He didn't know the language per se, but he knew how to sing it. Man's a legend for a reason. 50k songs in his lifetime. Don't think any male singer in the past, present or future can reach anywhere closer.

@SunGsam-rd7tu u can analyze on Google...rafi shab is all category of singing in no.1 expression,emotion,note,tempo,melody,singing style,gagal,quawali,yodeling,etc...where are kishore...only natural singer with great voice...I know kishore is also great singer but rafi is greatest in any category of singing and he is inspiration of all Indians singer💯
