May I ask you if this was normal for him to show such an objectionable closeness to a woman … Is she his wife ! What nuisance ! I too used to like his voice so much till I saw him do such cheap things in this video . How can people get away disrespecting women in this way . Poor thing may have decided not to make an issue out of this . May be suffered huge disturbance at home and may be he must have been told behind the scene to apologize . I would never have tolerated this act . Then he is going on till the end telling “ As beautiful as you are “ what a lecherous man he must have been. I am happy he is no more today

We, old Srilankans are very fond of Hindi songs because there was a period, in 1950s to 1960 s, from morning till evening we listened to Hindi songs. Hindi songs were broadcasted to south India form Colombo. Songs were broadcasted before the movie got released. Nowadays in Srilanka it is very rare we listen to Hindi songs on Radio .

I had the honor of introducing the legendary SPB in 1997, as President of Michigan Tamil Sangam...when he gave a musical performance in Metro Detroit... The year 1997, btw, was the 50th anniv of India's independence...and a gala event was also organized by ALL Indian associations at the Pontiac Silverdome (now sadly demolished! :( ) Greatly enjoyed this song too...and abv all SPB's humbleness that is quite clear here :)

This song is SPs favorite of Rafi songs about which he talks about in another video. SP is humble enough to say that no one can sing this song like Rafi Saab did.

Salute to all the singers of South who without any ego sings songs sung by Hindi singing legends and sings it so well inspite of the language difference. They just try their best to get into the feel of the song. And SPB considered Rafi his guru and inspiration. What a tribute to give. And SPB is really great because I read somewhere that he used to learn and understand Urdu before singing any song so that he gets to the diction properly as well can give the feel to the song. How sad, we lost him so early.

I find this comment often written that no one can match Rafi Sahab's brilliance, which would be true, as everybody else would be an imitation. They are simply honoring his memory by singing his song, the singer par excellence that he was and the number of hits that he had delivered. Just like I do not expect Rafi Sahab to be singing SPB songs like SPB could. Par for the course!

The sweetest song composed by OPji. You can hear this song umpteen times and forget everything. SP and Sangita do is superb.

SP Bala brings excellent charm to the song with this song n also supports n make comfortable to co singer

Not sure if this is 'putting at ease'.. A little toning down of the clowning would make it better. Sad SPB is no more with us
