Both Sangeetaji and Suravji are awesome. This is one of my favorite songs that I am playing day after day and enjoying it more day after day. Music Director Jaidevji definitely gave this musical composition that would appeal to folks of all ages for generations to come.

The songs of this film made the world take notice of the Music Composer Jaidev. Such evergreen music compositions that we hear them even today & will continue in time to come. Unfortunately Jaidev was not a commercially successful Music Composer & hence composed tunes for low budget films. This song is a classic which is sung by Rafi & Asha tai in the original soundtrack. @sarada pk... I am also a keralite. Born and brought up in the streets of Bombay, Delhi and Lucknow. These are magic songs. This particular one is Sahir Ludhianvi magic. Then you have Hasrat Jaipuri, Mazroo Sultanpuri, Rajinder Kishore. Those are days when music followed the lyrics

Bikash Dey, 67.Performance of Sauravji's is really praise- worthy. Sangeetaji, you can make bridge between past and present. The song is enough old but even today it seems as heart shaking as it was.
