March 18th, 2024 is the 11th death anniversary of Sibt-e-Jafar Zaidi (1957-2013). Sibt-e-Jafar was trained as a lawyer and was affiliated with education for 30+ years. He was most renowned for his poetry and sozkhwani, the latter of which was his true passion. He established Idara-e-Tarveej-e-Sozkhwani in 1997 and published the widely read Basta in 2000. Through this vehicle and his own poetry, he trained and influenced a new generation of poets and reciters.
