    Thanks for the update. I used your paint brush bristle method for my Haworthia with my Botany class (pollination in March; seed harvest in April). I got a Total of 215 Seeds from 23 pods from 4 bidirectional crosses of 5 species. Will sow them in May. Cheers from Chicago!

    Nice plants!!! The largest hybrid of yours looks like a cats tongue! Very awesome!!! Very nice healthy seedlings!!! They look great!!! Now the anticipation of what will they look like!! Oh man!!     👏👏👏 I loved seeing the seedlings germinate 😍, so cool! About the names, although I think it's a bit early to give a right name, I'll give my suggestions too... Plant A: Frosted Chameleon (I don't know why it made think this name😄, a bit crazy). Plant B: Laguna (that means a small lake in Spanish). Anyway... You're definitely going to have overbooking of Haworthias in a year or so, Daz😅😜💞.

    Baby plants are so cute. 😍 I have a bunch of petunia seedlings right now as well as tomato, zinnia, balsam, marigold, and cosmos. Can't wait to see them bloom.

    Great job Daz! I've been trying to cross pollinate my Haworthia the past couple of weeks as most of them are blooming right now. I did collect some seeds form my H. truncata last year but have yet to plant them. Thanks for the reminder that germination rate will go down over time. Here are some cultivar name ideas 😀 Plant A: Haworthia 'Mania' Plant B: Haworthia 'Edith'

    Looked forward to this seedling update! Super jealous, I haven't perfected sowing seeds in the Philippine climate yet so I'm sticking with leaf and pup propagation for now. For your hybrids' names, you could do a combination of their parents' names: Plant A - Hakukage Plant B - Tsukuma

    Great video Daz, the seedlings are looking great - I hope to generate some Haworthia hybrids of my own this year, although annoyingly my H. bayeri is flowering now whilst nothing else is! My name suggestions are: Plant A - 'Frosted peaks' Plant B - 'Knobbly bobbly'

    I didn't cover my cactus seeds or used any special soil and they seem to be doing all right in direct sunlight though they aren't growing as faster as your seedlings but doing just fine. I live in Southern California.

    That’s interesting. It’s usually important to keep the soil moist and the humidity levels up during their first month or two. But if they’re doing fine then all is good 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜

    Hello. You can use vermiculite instead. If you’re just wanting to use something to lightly cover the seeds after sowing you can use a thin layer of compost or horticultural sand instead. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🏜

    Loving your helpful videos. Just wondering what proportions of JI 2/Vermiculite and molar clay you use, also is the molar clay you use the cat litter one that people speak about please ? Steve 🪴

    Thank you 😊 The mix is pretty much in equal parts. It’s pretty much the same stuff as the cat litter but the place I get it from it seems to be a cleaner product, less dust. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
