Funny how this cartoon is such an understatement of what the Nazis really wanted to do in Russia.

Melon Lord hitler mainly just didn't want the threat of Stalin. Especially since Russia was going to have the capability to beat hitler soon and Stalin was preparing for a invasion by disarming minefields around the German border. I think he just wanted to strike them before they got to powerful.

Wyatt Shelley Funny story because Stalin also believed he was not prepared for a war against Hitler and was preparing a defense, not an offense. The Nazis always wanted Eastern land for their Lebensraum. The Molotov Ribbentrop pact was simply for convenience since Germany at the time was even weaker than France, let alone Russia, and didn't want a two front war (how ironic), but eventually a plan was written up (Generalplan Ost) to carve up Eastern Europe into districts that would feed the German people, enslaving (Roman style) strong and fit Slavs and eradicating weaker, insubordinate, or intellectual Slavs, and drain the region of resources for the German war machine. The plan for Russia from the start was eradication, not compromise.

Melon Lord so why would he disarm minefield for a defensive war. Stalin had conquest on his mine and wanted German lands. We know this because after the war the Soviet Union annexed many countries. And hitler attacked Russia mainly because he know they had the potential to over power Germany in the future so he wanted to strike them down when they were weak and use their resources. That's what any nation wants to do when they conquer another country.

More land for greed only? USSR had no lack of resourses nor of a territory. Buffer zone - that's how we call it. That's the reason to attack Finland and separate Poland. And yes Stalin knew that the best deffence - is to strike first, tho' only what he needed - is more time. Hitlers plan's about Eastern lands were no secret for decades before the war. What this cartoon didn't show is that Hitler planned total elemination for Soviet people (after the war of course), leaving only few thousans as a serving personall for a resourse gathering.

This seems like a blind-men-touching-different-parts-of-an-elephant type of situation. The Nazis _were_ buffoons, but they were also incredibly dangerous to Germany's neighbors. It is also worth mentioning there were some US cartoons that did treat the Nazis as a serious threat, with Disney's _Education for Death_ probably being the most prominent example.

I know British gentile Zionists (it's almost funny, that the most powerful kind of Zionists aren't even Jewish themselves) are the real villains behind the Israeli-Palestine conflict that threatens to fuse with the Russian-Ukrainian one and the Chinese-Taiwanese to potentially become WWIII... All of that is pretty clear to me but, the First and the Second, not so much (I assume you mean more than just Neville Chamberlain's enabling passivity, in order to make the case that Britain started both WWI and WWII)

Solid T Roman slaves born without freedom and dignity were also afraid of what they didn't know. Yeah for Russians it was probably fantastic - they were never free and they never had a healthy rational relation with their authorities(maybe besides very late tsarist times) so how could they even know they were human machines born into this world in order to work, eat, take a shit and work again. For my republican nation forced into this disgusting system from normality in 1945 by massive extermination of cultural elites and political opponents it was a fucking TRAGEDY and it lasted untill 1990's. Since 1956 when authorities of our "glorious peoples republic" moved tanks on the streets of my city to deal with unarmed workers riots caused by fucking hunger and unhumane poverty never seen in these parts of Poland, people just knew they were miserable piles of bones and flesh created by the party to work for the party. Russians throughout their arrogance and ignorance never understood some nations that unlike theirs were civilized and wealthy before the war and forcing them into this backwards socialist enslavement was a huge step back. Don't make me laugh even comparing USA to this horse shit. There were fucking cars for working class out there at the time when you had to either be a party member or wait years in a line for a fucking tiny shitty tin can Fiat. Unlike in Soviet Russia, american working class was at least free to talk about their problems or migrate. Your parents were satisfied with that. Mine saw it as a labor camp. Guess Russians are completely different than Poles after all.
