I was thinking "what???" too and for a second after I thought: did I hallucinate Mark Wiens in the thumbnail,but nope,there he was.Sergey is such a great host,I'd love see him hosting other good hearted,interesting travel KZreadrs in Saint P or Ufa or actually anywhere in Russia.Would be fun.

Personally,that thought never even crossed my mind.You don't do clickbait,you don't cheapen your channel for views.I was just excited to see a collaboration between you and Mark,something I had never imagined.You do Real Russia your way and I respect that.I wish your channel was better known to more people because I can't even adequately express how much your videos have expanded my knowledge of Russia in the modern era.Your vids are so fresh and upbeat,I wish more people could experience them.Any collab you do with a respectful fellow You tuber can only be a positive thing,especially if it increases your exposure,although I understand just hosting "famous" guests isn't the main mission of your channel.It's fun to add the unexpected from time to time but you are the captain of this ship. Totally off topic,but,do you know anything about the seed bank in St.Petersburg that saved the rare crop seeds of Europe that can now only be found at this seed bank? Russia saved these plant and legume species from extinction and now farmers in Europe can get seeds from there to revive locally extinct crops.I saw this in a video about a German farmer.

@@realrussiablog I found the video that mentions the seed bank and it's called The Vavilov Institute.Apparently it has the largest seed collection in the world.Very interesting history about the guy who founded the institute,which I'm sure there must be more info in Russian.My Russian as of now is extremely basic! Some of the Institute's botanists starved during the Seige of Leningrad protecting the seeds so they would be preserved for future generations.Sounds worth checking it out?

Thank you, Sergey for this video - I've seen quite a few of your vids in the past as I really like Russian culture. In addition, I've been following Mark for years now (and he's been a huge influence for my move to Thailand in 2020)... beyond that, this is the first video of all his collaborations that I could actually see how he works and films. And, seeing Mika and Ying so much were great too.

Unfortunately, not. Mark had only one day in St Petersburg. BUT I have loads of just other videos of Saint Petersburg and Russia

Great experience for you all! Everyone looks very happy! I love that Sergey is so happy to share his Russian culture, and Mark is so open to try and understand a new culture and eating experience that doesn’t include rice, sambol and chili. Such a brilliant collaboration. And brilliant for Mika to see. Great vlog!

Ну это реально нелегко! Столько есть да еще постоянно камеру крутить и передвигать с места на место. Честно говоря, это один из самых муторных жанров! Я за этот год тоже много еды снял и так же запаривался! :)

nice video. yummy food. hello to Mark & his family. mostly great & relieved to see Ying looked so much better. cheerfull, smiley, pretty and despite the rain and the cold weather, she didn't look pale, tired and cold like the one she looked in the Mark's Royal Seafood Platter video.

Thank you Mark. By using some of Sergey feed you showed us how you do it yourself. With over 5 million deserved subscribers you probably won't see this and yet I really appreciate the behind the scenes elements. Micah is getting big and Ying more beautiful. Only wish hope the best for your family.
