Ice clouds are common in USSR nuclear tests videos, and the similar situation has only been seen in US nuclear tests on the sea, did this have anything to do with the cold weather in the USSR?
@teeteetuu94

Soviet tests most probably were conducted in Kazakhstan. Perhaps it is somewhat humid (or cold period of the year), seeing those huge clouds condensing upon the shockwave. Most US atmospheric tests were conducted in Nevada, where the testing ground is within a desert and air is a lot drier.

If a nuclear war broke out, my only consolation is the fact that I live about 15 miles from NASA Headquarters and the Marshall Space Center, So that would most likely be a target, and I would be vaporized instantly, No pain or suffering. 💣 ☠Happy Fourth of July. 🎆 🇺🇸 👊😎

If you are 15 miles away and especially underground or in a basement, the typical Russian warhead would not vaporize you at that distance. The largest yield is around 800KT.

Legit. I wish the Russians would do a video library drop of there test footage like LNLL did. I believe if they did they could possibly release the Project K footage of their EMP tests. Project K was a far larger of a test than the Fish Bowl tests. I was SOOOOOO hoping on LNLL was going to, but nope. I get why it's highly classified but it's such a beautiful event.
